Traveling from Prescott to the bay area my wife and I found this place. The food was amazing. The right combination of spices. I had never had ox tail so he gave me a taste. The service was top notch. Definitely a stop from now on when traveling through Barstow. Price was very reasonable.
My wife and i found this place by accident,so we gave it a try. and the staff was very freindly, the food was excellent,those beef ribs where the rest i have had in a long time.and we will drive back their again,and we live 30 miles away.
Can we give the food 6 stars? Everything was amazing. The meat was tender and falling off the bone. The BBQ was drool-worthy. Everything was made from scratch with love. The portions were generous, and the owner and staff were lovely. They made us feel at home. Service was quick and you can choose from many selections. We will be routing to the Barstow Tesla charger in the future specifically so we can eat at Southern Twist! p.s. we absolutely recommend trying the baked...
