VERY heavy on the mayo / mayo-like spread — be VERY CLEAR when ordering at this location.
Moreover, for two non-customized Charburgers, it should not take 40 minutes to prepare them. (Another party had six orders of fries, all of which were cold, according to another complaining customer.) And, no apologies from anyone for the excessive wait.
Great food and service.
This place took 40 minutes to get a two person meal, and there was no one at the counter when we ordered.
The wife says that salads are great. The hamburgers are nasty. Online ordering not user-friendly at all.
The food was good but it took 30 mins to grab a burger and fries.
The chicken Cobb salad is delightful!
Portions are really small. Burnt burger, yet cold, cheese wasnt even melted. Bread was hard and stale. Wait time in the drive thru was crazy considering you get burnt meat cold and stale bread, thought the wait was because it was going to be hot and fresh. Number one burger is laughable at rhis place. 38 dollars for two meals, that were stale amd nasty and child size food is ridiculous. You have fatburger across the street, you have in n out as well as carls jr, hell i hate Mcdonalds but the quarter pounder would have been bettwr than this garbage Habit resturant. I would not recommend this Habit to anyone in this area choose any other of the many places to eat around this area. Food was gross. I forgot to add, that they were out of onion rings and sweet potato fries.

So I went here twice. On the way to Las Vegas and back. First date wa s the date before Christmas Eve aka dec 23rd. And then 2 days after Christmas. 27th of December. Both times the service was incredibly slow. The food was good in the 23rd but on the 27th 1 hour and 30 mins before closing, it was practically terrible. I’ll be looking for another store instead.

Understaffed and slow. We stopped for a quick burger and ended up spending an hour. Not kept up well. My wife found the women's bathroom dirty with no toilet tissue in any of the stalls.

Where do I even begin? This place is an absolute joke. My experience at The Habit in Barstow was nothing short of a disaster. We were on a road trip, and decided to stop here for a quick bite. Big mistake. We waited a staggering 50 mins for our order—completely unacceptable for a fast food joint.
We kept asking the man at the front about our order, and all he kept saying was "we're working on it." Meanwhile, we watched several other customers come and go with their food. By the time we got our order, the burgers were cold, like, the bread and patties had clearly been sitting out for ages.
Now, this is where it gets truly ridiculous. When we brought it to the attention of the staff that the food was cold, the man at the front didn't even acknowledge the problem properly. We asked to speak to the manager, who was standing in the kitchen right in front of us. Turns out, the manager was too “busy” to speak with us directly. Instead, the man in the front just kept relaying messages like we couldn’t hear him at the back. Completely unprofessional and rude.
Finally, one of the cooks came over and tried to explain that the cold burger was because of the coleslaw. She actually had the nerve to tell us it was supposed to be cold, as if we’ve never had a burger with coleslaw before. The bread and meat were just cold, period. When we asked for a remake, the manager (who was apparently still "busy") tried to shoo us off, saying it would take another 25-30 mins —as if we had that kind of time after already waiting nearly an hour.
At that point, we just demanded a refund. They gave it to us reluctantly, but honestly, it felt like they were doing us a favor by returning our money. We ended up grabbing food at the Raising Cane’s drive-thru, and the experience was miles better than anything we got here.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Not only was the food terrible, but the customer service was beyond atrocious. Do yourself a favour and skip the habit—there are plenty of other places in Barstow that will actually respect your time and money. We won’t be back, and I’d advise you not to waste your time either.

This is near a Tesla pit stop and outlet area. Right off an exit of the highway. It is mobile mobile or DIY order on a machine. With so many options and customization it does get tough to know what you want to order. I have an account with habit but it doesn’t have a scanner to use the coupon I had on my phone so I just decided to use my phone. There is even a timer after you order on the app to tell you when ur food is ready. A promotion I used was the BOGO free side. The sides are even can be combos but the problem is that its standard combos and cannot be altered. But there are still great options. I did have to wait in line for the mobile machine about 10 mins as there was too many customizations. There was mostly workers preparing orders so they don’t wait by the counter or pressure you to order things when ur not ready. I really like that. I’m still waiting so I’ll update about the food later

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at The Habit Burger Grill. The customer service was absolutely terrible. The staff was rude, inattentive, and seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. My order was wrong, and when I brought it to their attention, they acted as though it was my fault. No apology, no effort to correct the mistake in a timely manner.
On top of that, the wait time was ridiculously long despite the restaurant not being very busy. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. I expected so much better from a place with a good reputation for quality food. Unfortunately, the poor service ruined the entire experience. I won’t be coming back.
