I discovered a hidden gem in Bass Lake after stumbling upon their name in a recommendation from our timeshare resort. I figured it must be worth checking out, and I was not disappointed. The menu was extensive and offered a variety of options. We ordered big plates of our choice and were impressed with the rich and tasty flavors. The portions were also generous, and the bill was very reasonable. The staff was excellent and provided great service.

Family place that offers delicious home cooking. It's the place to go while in the area... try their steak picado, best ever! But careful it can be spicy! Service is always great....cold beer and chips and salsa, what more do you need!!

My family and I stopped by his restaurant on our way out of bass lake. We were 14 people deep and the accommodated all of us. We all ordered different food and it was all delicious. The pozole, albóndigas, chile relleno, salsa verde, huevo con chorizo, enchiladas, caldo de camarón and camarones a la diabla. We are raza and can appreciate good Mexican food. All 9 adults and 5 kids left happy and with a full belly. Thank you.

The red salsa here is just pitch perfect. It has exactly the right amount of smokiness and spice level. My wife loves spicy food and it’s very rare that she falls in love with a salsa that easily. I literally did a take out from here 30 mins ago and we enjoyed the food and salsa so much that I got compelled in writing this review while holding a salsa dipped burrito in one hand.Vegetarian options: Veggie burrito is crafted to perfection.
