“Husband and I came 3 years ago and loved the table with window view and we brought my family this year . I will say the steak had less seasoning and can use more cooking on the fat caps and the menu changed no more bacon scallops was a little sad but the salad, veggies and mashed potatoes were so good, my husband did say he didn’t really like the soup before the meal so he didn’t finish it.”

“Just finished my birthday dinner at Mountain Oaks Cafe in Oakhurst and WOW… highly recommend! The four girls, my husband, and I all ordered something different, and every single plate was absolutely packed with flavor. Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The pull-apart ribs were perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the tri-tip was smoked to perfection. the youngest was completely lost in her pizza — which honestly looked amazing — and every bite around the table got rave reviews. The portions were huge too… we’re all heading home with lunch for tomorrow! If you’re anywhere near Oakhurst, do yourself a favor and check out Mountain Oaks Cafe. Great food, great portions, and a perfect birthday dinner. We’ll definitely be back!”

“From Kansas City, so very picky when it comes to BBQ. This by far is the best BBQ we've had since moving too Lake Havasu City Arizona. An easy 5 s! Meat was smoked perfect, spicy sauce was spot on ana the jalapeño mac and cheese with bacon on top was delicious!”

“I had a work assignment here in Oakhurst && searching TikTok for coffee places , Clash popped up ! The first day I went everyone was so welcoming ! Everything on the menu I wanted, but I let the owner decide for me ! And boy was it GOOD ! Every morning I went got either my hot coffee or iced coffee and it did not disappoint ! “I highly recommend Idle Hour winery and kitchen in Oakhurst. I found out about the winery when looking for a place to eat in the area on the Internet and I’m so glad I did. It was one of my more memorable meals. I had one of their wines, which was outstanding with a salmon dinner accompanied by a very large salad. I usually don’t have dessert, but, being gluten-free, I decided to try their flourless chocolate cake. I’ve never had one I’ve particularly liked, but I doubt that I will be able to resist that dessert the next time I go for dinner, although I will have to try their Sunday brunch next.”

“on a 10000 mile cross country trip and 1st time in Yosemite, staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch. they recommended SGB for lunch, and it did not disappoint. our hardest task was deciding what to choose as there were so many delicious items to choose from we decided on two different burgers and shared. both were delicious and cooked perfectly. the staff, energy, vibe and music were all fantastic. I would highly recommend SGB to all for a great meal and beer.”

“The food was delicious! I had the filet mignon beef Wellington and my husband had the crusted salmon. Both dishes came with sides and desserts included and it looked amazing and was absolutely delicious. The price per plate, only $55., that’s a bargain these days. The atmosphere of old times mountain house was cozy and comfortable. We were seated in front of the fire place. We’ll definitely be eating there again soon.”
