This was a special menu for Valentines day. Overall there were items on this menu that were good and some not so good. The overall theme though was a tart flavor through all dishes. There was a couple stand outs but the main which was a duck breast was not very good. The skin was not crispy and the meat was tough, it left a lot to be desired. For my wife, two guests and I; this was our first time to experience the Elderberry House. My guests have lived in Fresno for 60 years...they messaged me that this was the best dining experience of their lives. The signature drinks (for an amazing price of $10) at the bar, the ambiance, the food, the service...hard to beat!

We have been anticipating a visit and dining experience for several years. The dining room is well appointed and the service by the bar tender (before dinner drinks), sommelier, and wait staff was very engaging, attentive, and with perfect timing. I have one opinion and one disappointment.
