“Just finished my birthday dinner at Mountain Oaks Cafe in Oakhurst and WOW… highly recommend! The four girls, my husband, and I all ordered something different, and every single plate was absolutely packed with flavor. Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The pull-apart ribs were perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the tri-tip was smoked to perfection. the youngest was completely lost in her pizza — which honestly looked amazing — and every bite around the table got rave reviews. The portions were huge too… we’re all heading home with lunch for tomorrow! If you’re anywhere near Oakhurst, do yourself a favor and check out Mountain Oaks Cafe. Great food, great portions, and a perfect birthday dinner. We’ll definitely be back!”

“From Kansas City, so very picky when it comes to BBQ. This by far is the best BBQ we've had since moving too Lake Havasu City Arizona. An easy 5 s! Meat was smoked perfect, spicy sauce was spot on ana the jalapeño mac and cheese with bacon on top was delicious!”

“I highly recommend Idle Hour winery and kitchen in Oakhurst. I found out about the winery when looking for a place to eat in the area on the Internet and I’m so glad I did. It was one of my more memorable meals. I had one of their wines, which was outstanding with a salmon dinner accompanied by a very large salad. I usually don’t have dessert, but, being gluten-free, I decided to try their flourless chocolate cake. I’ve never had one I’ve particularly liked, but I doubt that I will be able to resist that dessert the next time I go for dinner, although I will have to try their Sunday brunch next.”

“I loved this place, ended up getting it twice on a long holiday weekend trip. The prices are really good especially during happy hour or if you have a discount available on one of the delivery/pickup apps. I got the Colima burrito (their version of a California burrito) both times and it was super good, tons of ingredients. Would definitely return if I was in the area.”

“was kinda just killing time while my friend got gas and saw this little store, honestly didnt expect it to be so charming. walked in for the hell of it and the froyo was super fresh and creamy with this really good mango topping that was way better than what you get at chain places. They also had some cute impulse buy stuff near the register that I ended up grabbing becuase why not, the lady working was super freindly too. definitely glad I stopped, would absolutly come back next time im in the area.”

“I cannot recommend The Pines Resort enough! They have thought of everything! They have every amenity possible right on property and the customer service is above and beyond! They even text you to see if you need anything. The food is amazing and best lobster ever! We visited Yosemite and the Sequoias during our stay, but honestly our favorite part of our trip was the resort. Thank you to the employees; Cecelia, Patrick, Alfonso, Andrew, Grace, & Sara for taking such good care of us during our stay!!”

“- Food quality is excellent with amazing spice level, flavor, and textures on everything. Fried rice had the perfect amount of oil.
-Overall, main fault is size of food (ask before ordering)
-Adorable decor inside restaurant. It felt lived in, reminded me of going to a family’s home for dinner. Lots of cute drawings and colorings all over, especially at the front where you get your table. (Saw it for a second, but I’m pretty sure there were a couple awesome Chainsaw Man drawings.) Other than that, the decor was mostly elegant.
-Staff are friendly and agreeable, but had a slight language problem (emphasis on slight, easily manageable).”

“It is in a gas station, you can’t call or place orders online. They only have one size and it is pretty pricey. Service was very good. I asked for one beef and one chicken. The guy checked and told me beef is mixed with sausage, so we ended up getting 2 chicken pizzas.”

“I used to go to this Subway more often. In the past, I didn't have the best experiences with the workers. Not the most friendly. Today, that all changed.

I was raised to do the right thing. If I use a public facility, it is important to make a purchase. That way, I don't come across as just a quick facility user without being a customer.

When I was ready, I went to the counter to purchase a cookie. I won't elaborate much, but I ended up paying far less than expected. They even tossed in an extra cookie.
