We come every year for a family cabin trip. Bring your dog, your baby and your crumb cake recipe. Or don’t pack any food at all and eat at the Forks Restaurant for every meal because it is also great. You can also rent a spot to park your boat/rent a boat

We went here for lunch and our server was horrible, she ignored us for about 10 min while she was chatting it up with other people about how slow it was and she didn't want to be there.. food was ok nothing special..we won't be back

Nice view of the lake while enjoying your meal. I had the salad and it was tasty and filling with a good portion. I couldn't finish it all. The service was good, despite the fact they were busy.

Cheeseburger, fries hot fresh, drink was large and hot dog was great with grilled burst snap to it. Food Ordered to go. Guy who took my order was fast, friendly and made sure I got everything!!
Noteworthy details: Water was amazing again. Worth the trip every time!!!

They are dirty scammers who want to take unnecessary money out of your pocket.
If you order fries and lettuce here!!!! ($12)!!!! To take with you for 3 people, they will show you a plate with that content, which contains more than enough for 3 people. What do you get in a large bag? a small bag of fries and a small bowl of lettuce with 1 tomato and 1 slice of cucumber as 1 person is not wearing enough and you immediately feel your stomach because you thought you were being fed after a long busy tourist day when you do a lot to see many beautiful things in America.
Still the best burgers ever..... we showed up late, right before closing, so we had to get our food "to-go". Its been a few years since we've been and it looks like they've added an outdoor seating area, with a view of the lake. Some of the dock has been renovated too. They added a nice seating area and access is easy from the restaurant.
The service is what it is, you don't go to a small lake town burger joint and expect stellar service. We got what we expected.... They forgot the fries on our to-go order, but we were really there for the burgers, so it didn't matter.
Burgers are the main attraction, its a homemade burger, with a perfect cook. Great for after lake activities, and in-between spots. If you haven't had one, it is 100% worth the effort. A great view, coupled with a great burger makes for some cherished memories.

I have no info about the resort itself. But the restaurant (or rather food bar) was very bad. I ordered mayonnaise with the fries and got some very expensive drink...(also something with mayo...). I asked how much a portion (from 6 dollars) and the waitress showed something with her hands. I asked for a dinner salad (also 6 dollars).
After a long wait I asked how things were going and saw her take the bag that had been next to me for quite some time. I looked in the bag and saw a small bag of fries. I asked where the salad was... it was underneath... a tiny container with a little bit of lettuce in it and 1 piece of tomato....
So if you want to get scammed; this is where you need to be!!!!

Good place to stay for vacation away from the city. Right infront of bass lake. Good BbQ but long wait times. Boat rentals and kayaks, nice but high priced convenience store. Great staff
Nearby activities: Kayaks, boats, skiing rentals. Close to lake beaches.
Walkability: No place to go other than hikes and lake
