Cute and very quaint little bakery in the middle of a residential area, amongst big trees and old vintage looking houses. Place has wonderful homemade breads, and various other baked goods, excellent tasting empanadas. Assorted coffees and teas to chose from. Did I mention this bakery is IN a house? in the middle of a neighborhood? So yeah, owner lives upstairs and the little bakery is downstairs. How cool is that! Short commute to work!? Right in front of the bakery is a cute little outdoor area with tables and chairs, lots of pretty succulents, and shade from gigantic trees. Cool vibe. Go there and get a loaf of sourdough bread and just hang out and eat it there. Cute friendly gray cat named Rasputin will come greet you and say hello.

Excellent tarts and shortbread cookies. We didn’t even make it back to the car before we had to turn around and go back for more to take home. We got a loaf of sourdough to go, haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it’s excellent. Everything is made fresh daily with organic freshly ground wheat. What a great local find.

How nice to discover this little bakery on a side street in Los Osos. The staff were so friendly and helpful and were able to accommodate a vegan nut free gluten-free lifestyle. Highly recommend this little gem.

Easily one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. Amazing to find in this tiny town. Get there before the bread runs out!

Absolutely delicious bread! The sourdough breads are created from freshly ground flours a d baked to perfection. We purchased a garlic loaf and cranberry walnut both were superb!

Magical bakery hidden in Los Osos. The snickerdoodles are beyond beyond. My dog loved the squirrel-shaped treats. Thank you Pagnol for your artistry and devotion.

Absolutely amazing bread. I've spent a lot of time standing in the bread line at ACME in Berkeley, I love bread. This place has incredible sourdough ever. Sourdough is reliant on the local air and they have the best innLos Osos.

A cute little bakery with a very pleasant, helpful staff. I can’t speak on pastries, but they did have a vegan cranberry (dark) chocolate chip loaf that was delicious. Just the right amount too so the bread kept its perfect form and texture. Just a hint of sweet. Loved it.Prices are a touch high, as are many things in this area, but they do use organic ingredients which obviously cost more.

Yes! Go! Cute little local bakery with delicious pastries and bread. Looked like everything was made on premise. We came by twice and had chocolate croissants and a sweet roll one time then got almond croissant and a spiced apple bread the next time. Everything was made with sourdough bread so just be aware. Some may not like a chocolate croissant with slightly sourdough croissant. Can be a bit pricy. Two croissants and a loaf of bread came out to $18.50. But it's good to support a local business and the service was friendly and helpful both times.

Can't go wrong with any of their choices. So many interesting combinations. Had to tear into the kalamata olive rosemary in car. Couldn't wait.
