Grandma's Broasted Chicken

We were recommended to this place by some friends, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in and were immediately greeted, asked if we knew what we wanted. We said we needed a coyote of minutes, but the gentleman said no problem, but answered some questions we had. We ordered the chicken skins, hush puppies and the #1 with light meat (breast and a wing with potato wedges and a roll). The hush puppies were so flavorful, no need for a dipping sauce. The chicken skins were huge and also very flavorful. I finally got to my chicken because it was so hot, I'm not sure because I had the other stuff, but the chicken wasn't as flavorful as the other stuff I had. The potato wedges were good, very hot as well. We will be back! Good value for what you get!

I was looking for a different place to get fried chicken and found this on google and had the guts to try it based on the few good reviews it has. I bought 2 12 pc dark meat special and it came with potato wedges for only 46 bucks. The place is far from fancy. the compound is a bit intimidating. It's a hole in a wall straight to the point take out place. Don't judge their chicken by their place and they have an A rating and that's reassuring. Their chicken is SOOOOOOO good. It was juicy but not greasy. Cooked perfectly. Flavorful and crispy on the outside even after hours left on the table. It was the 1st food gone on the dinner spread. Everyone liked it and I had 3 that night! They also have fried shrimp and fried oyster which we will try next time. I will definitely buy again from them especially for our next gathering. If you're still in doubt, believe me and go get your fried chicken fix from them now.

If I could give this place 10/5 I would! At first I thought the place was sketchy at first but most good places do lol Franchise chicken places hardly have any meat on their chicken and the grocery stores always make their chicken too salty. TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME HERE! Went here one day for a chicken plate and the pieces had plenty of meat, hardly greasy, lightly seasoned, and overall tasted like good ol home cooking 🤤. Just came here again to try their fish and shrimp and again, it was excellent. Most fish and shrimp places drown their fish in thick bread-like batter that makes you feel sick in a few bites. Here however, the fish and shrimp are fried in a seasoned thin peppery flour mix, basically a thin batter 🤤. I don't think I can go anywhere else for fried chicken and fish. JUST BE SURE TO AIR OUT THE FOOD TO LET IT COOL DOWN WHEN YOU GET IT!! YES! ITS THAT FRESH! AND THAT GOOD!

Went to this spot because I use to go to the one in Cypress that closed, this spots in a strip mall with various other places, the location was outdated and looks like it was some kind of eatery before they had a big display case that was unused there was no seating in the location so dining in is out of the question. I ordered the 4 pease chicken meal 2 breasts and 2 thighs, the chicken could have been cleaner there was extra skin just left in the peases when they were cooked, I don't mind the ribs being on a chicken breast but not removing it from the carcass isn't good enough for me. My sister ordered some fish and shrimp and some gizzards no problem there nicely done overall the food was good, with a few changes this place would be amazing
