It took me over an hour to type this review, but it was worth it…it takes me long time to type now. I am disabled, but I had to leave a fantastic review! I’ll be honest; I’ve only been to Bellflower once, this past Friday. The baby back ribs and brisket tasted exactly how I remembered it. I was a Huntington Beach customer. My husband and I used to order from Hambones at least once a week. Every Thanksgiving, we ordered our meal from Hambones. Who wants a traditional Thanksgiving meal, when you can have Hambones bbq! We were so disappointed when the Huntington Beach location closed.
I’ve never tasted bbq like Hambones. More people need to know about this bbq restaurant. I guarantee that these people will thank me. When Hambones closed in HB, reluctantly, we had gone to another bbq restaurant. The other bbq restaurant didn’t even come close to Hambones! I just want to say, if you want bbq done right, you need to go to Hambones in Bellflower!

Meat was horribly rubbery.....been going here for years been my spot....came off a 40 day fast looking to enjoy some good food ....spent almost $100 on great sides and rubber fish and beef ....how you get rubbery fish? Soooo disappointed

The food is absolutely amazing. Its flavorful, but in a familiar way, maybe like the way your Uncle would make it, the one that enjoys barbequing. The service on the other hand is lacking. Friendliness and a sense of gratefulness could go a long way. If the service can improve to an A standard from a C then this would always be my first go to for some incredible food and great service.

We are here now and the fried Okra is way over cooked, the service comes with a bad attitude and our food is lack luster. I’m giving a bad review, not to shame this establishment but to be honest my wife really raves about this place. There is a car show going on and the cars leaving are way more entertaining than the atmosphere here. I brought my Mom and wife to have a great meal and instead we received lack luster service and food. I hope anyone reading this experiences a different outcome.

I got small peach cobbler, and it's good, But I Should Not Be Charged $7.50 per Small; and if I wanted a Large it Would Have been $11.50??? Seriously? Seriously. I used to pay less than that for 2 Of the Pans of Peach Cobbler. Getting Way Way Way Too Expensive $$$$. Out of Control Expensive and Way Too Expensive 😞😓😥😢
