I absolutely love going to this Starbucks. The quality of customer service I get is so much appreciated.

Especially a young man (Kevin) who always has a smile and is very pleasant. Even when I can't make up my mind, he has never gotten annoyed. If anything, he makes suggestions, and thanks to his professionalism, I end up buying more than I originally went to buy.

Sadly, it's getting rare to see young men and ladies with good work ethics.

Starbucks should be proud of the quality of young men and women in this establishment.

I have been a customer at this Starbucks location since it first opened, frequenting it for over a decade. However, a recent experiences has made me question whether Starbucks truly upholds the values of community and inclusivity that it once championed.

On my last visit, I stopped by, as I often do to get some work done, spend 1-2 hours in the seating area in the evenings. While I may not purchase something EVERY single visit, I do so regularly and have supported this location for years. Despite this, I was abruptly asked to leave simply because I had not made a purchase that day even though the store was nearly empty, and my presence was not taking space from other paying customers.

I understand that Starbucks recently updated its "Coffeehouse Code of Conduct" (as of January 27, 2025), requiring patrons to make a purchase to use seating areas and restrooms. While I get the business rationale, it is disappointing to see how far Starbucks has drifted from its original "community-first" philosophy.

For years, Starbucks marketed itself as a welcoming "third place" a space beyond home and work where people could gather, relax, and feel part of a community. It was never about "Come in, but pay up first." If the focus is now solely on profit, they might as well remove any branding that claims to be “welcoming to the local community.”

This experience has left me disheartened, and because of this, I will no longer be stopping by at this location or possibly any other Starbucks. My mother and I would frequently come here to sit and chat given we live just minutes walk away, sometimes without ordering, especially when the lounge was completely empty or barely any folks sitting. But if customers are now being told to leave just for existing in the space without making a purchase, there is no sense of feeling welcomed anymore. Starbucks has fully shifted into a corporate-first model, prioritizing transactions over relationships.

If you’re looking for a true community café where you can sit and enjoy your time without being pressured to spend, I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere.

A great place to get coffee, the staff is nice, small drive thru so it's difficult getting in but a good place.

Vegetarian options: They an impossible sandwich and some cheese and egg sandwichs so depends what type of vegetarian you are. If you don't eat eggs or cheese then just stick to the drinks.

I am so disappointed I ordered a cup from here and even when they charge me as soon. I got to the store they said that they didn’t have it, so why they put it available when it is not in stock. For my reward and money they told I have to call corporation, I don’t even understand why I was supposed to call when the mistake was them. Never coming back to This location going back to the one Artesia.

Made me wait before servicing me through driveway didn't take my name no receipt and wouldn't give me large cups of ice water claim they were running low gave me grande size cups and switch person before taking order because I asked do they want my name Diana took my order gave me one straw and no napkins kept window closed after I stated I would be reported the services...

I was there to get coffee, but the nice server there seeing how stressed i was asked if i wanted water also, i found that really thoughtful. Thank you for the little things that go a long way to putting smiles on your customers faces.
