We came to Tacos Culiacan to celebrate my Comadre's belated birthday. It just happened to be on Viernes Santo. So I was excited to see if they had Cuaresma food.THEY DID!!!I ordered the Shrimp Patties topped with Nopales in Salsa Roja with a side of Beans & Rice with three Homemade Corn Tortillas. My Comadre got the Chiles Rellenos con Queso with Beans & Rice and the Tortillas. We also got a side of the Queso to add to the beans and the tacos. It added a yummy 'just like home' flavor. For dessert, we had the Capirotada, a Mexican-style bread pudding. We had the last of it, and it was more than enough to eat there and take home. The place is small and intimate. Our server was very friendly, and we were the last folks there. She gave us space to chat and visit while she mopped. It really reminded me of eating at home.

Expensive, food quality poor and taste like oil got carne asada plate, instead of sauted they were oily, a 2 weeks ago they were giving chips and salsa when I went this time, the rude waitress told they stopped serving chips and salsa 3 years ago, never going back again, only just to get the panera cheese, but not to eat there anymore. Paid 61.00 for 2 plates, drinks and the cheese.

The food was good ! I'm a black woman they treated me well but it wasn't a really diverse crowd . The staff was nice and served my food ! but I did get stares from some the guest . It's a really small restaurant but it's comfortable and homey . I just moved to bellflower a few months ago and wanted to try something new and I was happy I chose this restaurant. The prices are a little expensive but that's okay

"I had an amazing experience at Tacos Culiacan, and I have to give a special shoutout to El Asiento! The asientos here were so good, and El Chilorio was definitely the star of the show. The tender and juicy beef was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the tortilla was warm and fresh. The toppings were also delicious and added a great flavor and texture to the chilorio. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. You won't be disappointed!"

I ordered barbacoa with pork beans and sopa fría. It is very good, it comes with hand made tortillas. I also ordered fried corn tamale and it was delicious too. I recommend the food and the Jamaica drink. I've come before and I order for take out some beans, asadera and everything I order has a good home made flavor, the place is clean and the ladies are nice too. It's not the most modern restaurante but it is like a fondita from Mexico

Great food but 42 bucks for two people sounds a bit high for this quality. This is down home ghetto food and should be priced as such. $12.95 a plate at most.
