I really wanted to blown away by this restaurant, and have a "Go To" for amazing fried fish and shrimp, but it was just okay. I ordered the shrimp tackle boss with fries, and although the shrimp were large and plump, the batter was bland. The restaurant does not yet have the dining area open after COVID, and there was no one waiting for food, or any fryers going when I placed my order, which I think explains the reason the oil my food was fried in tasted bland/stale. I would try this restaurant again once it is busy again, but honestly $20 for a bland greasy box of food was just a waste...

They used old grease to fry my order of fish. It smelled like it and tasted like it. Didn't feel like driving all the way back. The fish was burnt, too. Oh well, looking for another fish spot. Just horrible.

I've been coming here since they opened and absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE. The food is DELICIOUS, never ever had I had any problems. My favorite is the Catfish Nuggets...So Good Seasoned Perfectly Most important the service I get is OUTSTANDING. The Lady who takes my order is BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT. She is ALWAYS VERY POLITE ( even when she is extremely busy) and Smiles underneath her mask. I just luv her Will be back Again and Again Thanks for serving Bellflower with your EXCELLENT FOOD AND OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE..KOODOS

You can't get your money back for bad service or food and I know why. The food was disgusting. The girl cooking my food didn't have a mask on but the large lady at the front insisted I wear mine. The fish was not fresh and well under cooked. Word to the wise: Stay close to central Los Angeles for decent fried fish.

I always have trouble finding a fish joint that seasons, batters and fries fish like places in the south where I’m from. This place did not disappoint. The macaroni was a little loose but it was still delicious. Fish and okra super crispy and fried hard without me asking. Everything flavorful! Shout out to Coco who prepared my food today. Whenever I come back, I’m asking if she’s there. ?

There's no a lot of places where you can find authentic southern fried fish but this place is definitely it! Had the fried shrimp and tilapia and it did not disappoint. I can't wait to come again and try the lobster!

Ordered a shrimp loaf and y’all gave me the smallest shrimp I ever seen it was gross, stop being cheap and trying to get over on people.

I went there for the first time last night. It was before their closing time. The food was great! I had the red snapper, seasoned fries, fried zucchini. However this review is not for the food, it is for the person who was working her butt off. She was holding the fort by herself, cooking, blacking, taking orders on the phone and walk in customers, yet with a smile and positive attitude. What an inspiration and a person to look up to. Thank you for all you do and I am sorry that I do not know your name.

Oh my. Perfection. Was not expecting this. It's a true gem and I'll tell you why: As a foodie for many a year, and fortunate to be titled one of the Elite Yelpers for 3 years straight, I give this place a Gold Star. I'm from the east coast so I know what good seafood is like. Their catfish sandwich was porbbaly the first catfish sandiwch of my life and could not ask for better. Where do I start? Bread is key. It's soft, yet cooked and warmed enough to support a heart sandwich. The catfish itself is fantastic. Same with the tartar sauce - not too bitter, not too sweet, just a perfect balance and tbe perfect quantity. They know what they're doing. Breading - yum. Light and crispy and handle with care. This is exactly the type of breading you want for a scrumptious sandwich. Lastly: the lemon. Never once in my life have I believe to tasted lemon this pure. Juicy, sweet, full or fragrance and squeezability. I wouldn't be surpised if it was picked off a local tree. In Boston, citrus gets handled by so much and has so many stickers, washing processes to go through. But this was fantastic. And I saw this as someone who did catering, worked weddings, and at a seafood restaurant. Fanastic. Thought I was gonna eat only half tbe sandwich and save the rest later - but nope, ate the whole thing I introduced msyelf to the lady behind the counter who identified herself as CoCo. Love the name. If she is Lady C, her partner must be Mr. T! And I pity the foo' who does not check this place out!

I was craving some fresh fried seafood. I found this spot on Yelp and it did not disappoint. It's a small little casual place, nothing special but the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend you give these guys a try.

Decided to try this due to the high rating. Definitely disappointed!!! The fish didn't taste fresh. The seasoning was bad. The portion of the super tackle was small for the price. It was mostly badly seasoned batter. The snapper looks like frozen fish sticks!! Very greasy!! It tasted like this oil used to cook has been reused since 1986. Save your money on the place! They have a big sign that says no refunds. That should have been a red flag. Press back, and keep scrolling to find other food options...
