The owner is trying to do everything herself, so it took 2 hours for lunch.
Teally good food and definitely one of the best Indonesian restaurants I’ve been to!
Excellent food, I ordered sweet and sour fish with rice and vegetables and they were very good 👍 🔥 highly recommend
Toko Rame is an absolute hidden gem—and without a doubt, the best Indonesian food in Southern California. Speaking as someone of Indonesian descent, I can confidently say this place delivers the real deal when it comes to authentic, bold, and deeply satisfying Indo flavors.
From the first bite, you know you’re tasting food made with love and tradition. The nasi goreng is perfectly spiced and comforting, the sate is juicy and full of that rich, smoky flavor, and the empal belado—my personal favorite—is melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right kick of heat.
If you’re craving genuine Indonesian comfort food or just want to explore something incredible off the beaten path, Toko Rame is a must. This place feels like home—and tastes like it, too.

Authentic Indonesian cuisine. I recommend the roti cane and the Nasi Bungkus.
The place isn't the big one, but it's clean. The seller was nice and helpful. They have various menus, from the popular one like rendang, until the uncommon one rica, Tahu tek, etc. ? I didn't order those, but it was just good offer. The price is reasonable for good portion. We will stop by again next time.

Just tried this place for the first time over this past week and man it’s SO SO SO good. I don’t know why I haven't been here before. The food had so much flavor and best of all it’s HALAL!!! Definitely a must try if you are in the area.
I got beef rendang and my husband got a noodle dish, we also tried the roti cane and every thing was amazing ?

Toko Rame is one of the smaller Indonesian restaurants with extensive menu !! Authentic taste. Very.Uncle Fong is also good food but very limited menu offering. Toko Rame is not expensive, closed Mondays. Plenty parking. Halal, no pork served.

The best Indonesian food I’ve had in SoCal. On par with the best food I’ve had while in Indonesia. I would drive an hour every day to this place if I could. Try the Sate Kambing, nasi goreng sapi, ox tail soup. People there are super friendly. Dishes may seem priced a bit high, but the quality, taste and quantity makes it more than worthwhile.
