Heavy rain in the morning and had breakfast with friends here at Ella’s Cafe &BBQ. Wonderful fresh food & service. Our group really enjoyed it.

We are from Texas and are honestly a little surprised that the reviews for Ella’s are not better. Texas BBQ is not haute cuisine. It’s good, old fashioned, comfort food. The Ella’s NAILS it. Felt like many of the road houses around Austin and the food was spot on.

French toast so thin looked like someone sat on it, got a bowl of moldy mushy fruit, eggs scrambled but still had white in it so it was poorly scrambled in the pan, hashbrowns served without salt. Food was served in a togo container with red paper and the dye came off onto the food. This place is a food hazard.

Eggs Benedict with brisket was good. Kitchen was generous.

Place was empty when we went in. It’s nice but they took forever for both food and drink. They forgot the grenadine in my drink and my friends pina colada was sour. When the food did come out, it came out cold and the brisket was dry. The fries tasted like they fried frozen stale potatoes. Drinks were way overpriced for having no alcohol.

Spend time on a Saturday night drinking our fave cocktail nice music, not too loud just chill and quiet. Not too crowded which is nice. You can either watch sports from bar TV

This place doesn’t even deserve a zero rating. The food was disgusting and clearly not fresh. Even after we told the owner about the poor quality, we were still given the full bill to pay. The entire experience was a total waste of time and money.

The food was very good. Howeever the server Charged me FIVE DOLLARS for one Hawaiian roll cut in half, good reason to not come back and even dispute the charge. I did order a togo plate that my companion did enjoy
I'm from Texas.. ya'll.. the BBQ is legit. Very well priced and delicious. Remember to ask for extra pickled white onions. I will be back here often!

Great service, great food. Came here for lunch and was not disappointed. Great place for breakfast lunch and/or dinner
food was not good and overpriced. Absolutely nobody else in the restaurant. I don’t know how this place is still here.

We probably wont be back. The breakfast was not very good. The pancakes were dry and hard to cut into, only edible drenched in syrup. The butter served with the cakes was cold. The bacon was described as thick cut hickory bacon, but I was served flimsy thin slices.... service was slow, even though we were the only table in the restaurant on a Sunday morning. Disappointing, I really wanted to give this place a try.

I ordered ribs and brisket players takeout. The meat seemed like it was a few days old. The Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box.

Delicious lunch spot! I tried their classic sandwich with chicken and brisket - great combination and generous portions. The side of macaroni and cheese was creamy , gooey, and absolutely satisfying. Definitely recommend for a hearty, tasty meal
