We had a lovely evening at Amara. Our first time. Delicious food and attentive service. Best Branzino we ever had!
This place is decorated beautifully, the food is great. We had a large party of 25 people, next to us, at the bar and fireplace while we were dining so it was difficult to talk. The party was having a good time, after every speech a loud round of applause made it hard to enjoy our meal. I will ask next time before I book a reservation. This was a nice birthday meal even if it was really noisy, and the server was super nice.
Delicious, interesting cocktails and mezze. The braised octopus, mushroom kebab, and mirza ghasemi are fabulous.
Final indulgence is dessert in a glass.

LOVE this place. The food presentations ! Always start with warm olives. Sunday: cognac hot toddy. The flavors in the salmon crudo (raw), grilled broccoli, chocolate yule log, the bartender's drinks and food descriptions are worth the wait to eat.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A Beautiful Diwali Celebration at Amara, Belmont!
Mary Prem keeps telling me about this place and I had not dine there until the Diwali party!
It was a wonderful evening celebrating Diwali at Amara in Belmont! ✨ The event was beautifully hosted by Mary Prem and founder Reena Miglani, and everything from the warm atmosphere to the joyful energy, was absolutely perfect.
The food was delicious, the music and decor captured the true spirit of Diwali, and the sense of community made it extra special. 💫
A big thank you to Reena Miglani and Ajay Walia for their grace and hospitality. Thank you Mary Prem ,she made everyone feel so welcome. It was a night full of light, friendship, and celebration! 🪔❤️ I can’t wait for Diwali 2026!

Beautifully decorated Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Belmont. Bright, airy, and newly renovated, everything we tried was delicious. Green hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Brazino, and the Tomahawk steak were all perfectly cooked and seasoned. Friendly and efficient service. Large free parking lot. Nice addition to the Belmont restaurant scene.

An absolute must on the peninsula. Don't let the location fool you. The cozy, relaxing ambience, amazing food, drinks, service and overall experience is truly excellent. Passionate owners, walking the floor and checking in on guests, every bite is delicious including a well crafted cocktail menu and wine list. See for yourself.

The food is excellent. We had the green hummus as an appetizer, shakshuka, and za'atar roast chicken for the main course. Unfortunately, the kitchen ran out of orange cheesecake and peach and cream desserts so we passed on desserts but definitely going back there for dinner to try their dinner menu.
Amara is a restaurant that does it right! I have dined there twice this past month, once for brunch and once for dinner. Everything is truly delicious! The green hummus is a must. I also recommend the Qatar chicken, muhammara, kabobs and eggplant. The flavors of all of the dishes are perfect. The staff is very attentive and knows the menu and flavor profiles of the food and drinks.
Tried this place for brunch on a saturday at noon. Dead inside. We were the only table. I was quite surprised. Because the place is beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. The zatar roasted chicken and the eggplant were fantastic service was great as well. They dont have highchairs or boosters but chairs were high enough and table was low enough that our daughters didnt need them. Would definitely come back again.
