not sure why google says this place is closed.... im eating here right now lol
I visited this place for lunch many years ago because it was by an REI we were going to...I cannot speak to new ownership or what it is like today in 2019, but i can tell you that it was excellent back then and hopefully still is. The hummus was super good. Whatever I had for a meal was good, albeit I cannot remember exactly what it was anymore. The fact remains that 6 years later my husband and I still say to each other "next time we are in that area we have to go to..."
Their arroz caldo is 🔥! But you pay the Belmont price for filipino silogs... especially when you've been to Superstar on mission in SF. But then again, it's the only pinoy joint around the area with good silogs.
Everything was delicious. I was dancing in my seat as I ate and was in a good mood all day after this meal. Will go back and recommend to anyone. Also that arroz caldo is my new favorite. 😠Exceeded my expectations. The staff was great too. Friendly and helpful.
Great Filipino breakfast that satisfies our cravings every time. Small, simple place but we always seem to be able to find a seat.
Cute cozy little go to spot for Philipinno cuisine. Opens for breakfast in the morning until about 2pm. 7 days a week. Great traditional style foods from the beautiful country of Philippines like; chicken adobo, kare kare, bangsilog, longsilog, tocilog, embudito, delicious garlic rice, sopas and much much more! Try their Crab Omelette. Masarap! Check these pics and like the post please...
Excellent cafe .Great snacks, wonderful food and waitstaff. Best food I have ever had in a restourant. Great desserts. Worth the drive. Park across the street.
Not as good as before after change if ownership. The beef us dry in the Tapsilog dish. And the pork sausage not as tasty as before. Still not a bad place. A Hit expensive now for what it is. I also miss the humus that is no longer served here. Now they give you a soup instead.
Home cooked just as your pamilia makes, the BEST quality turon thats not overly sweet and fat plantains lined with jackfruit, mmm!
You walk in and go to the counter to order, then find your own seat. Watching the other customers arrive, you realize that the clientele leans heavily Filipino and heavily local, to the point where most are walking rather than driving to this utterly unpretentious little joint. After much hemming and hawing, you finally decide which of the delectable items you will start your day with today. You go over and fill your cup with coffee or tea, and wait a few minutes. Shazam: flavor! texture! utterly delicious! The bowl of soup with which the meal started was perfect: gentle yet robustly flavored. My adobo chicken was superb, and both of us marveled over the excellence of the garlic rice. I prefer my eggs a little more done, but that's on me for not having specified my preference. My husband's tocilog was good; with hot sauce added it was superb. A wonderful meal.

This was one of my go-to spots when I worked in San Carlos. The owner is incredibly nice, the food is fantastic, and it's perfect for a quick lunch. Everything I've had from here was delicious.
We tried the corned beef silog and the longsilog. They were both absolutely brilliant! This place is a real bang for your buck.
Cute, simple eatery offering Filipino dishes for breakfast and lunch. Great flavors! Will definitely go again.
You could easily miss this small and quirky place, but it had really deliscious and unique flavors and worth the visit if you aren't looking for fancy but looking for flavorful. I don't drink coffee, but my friend said the coffee could be better.
So delicious!! My boyfriend and I decided to try this on a whim and we are so glad we did! We had an amazing brunch on a Sunday morning. Each plate comes with 2 fries eggs and delicious garlic rice. Everything was so flavorful and it really felt like a home cooked meal. New favorite breakfast place for sure! And affordable!
