I visited this place for lunch many years ago because it was by an REI we were going to...I cannot speak to new ownership or what it is like today in 2019, but i can tell you that it was excellent back then and hopefully still is. The hummus was super good. Whatever I had for a meal was good, albeit I cannot remember exactly what it was anymore. The fact remains that 6 years later my husband and I still say to each other "next time we are in that area we have to go to..."

Just ok. SLOW DISORGANIZED Small location. Not enough seating. Runs out of various items. Service is robotic and not hospitable. I've watched people leave when told they'd have to wait 50 minutes for a to go order. If you have the time drive a few miles north to where you'll find a variety of good to great filipino restaurants. Nothing big. Not one I'd recommend or go out of the way for.

Their arroz caldo is 🔥! But you pay the Belmont price for filipino silogs... especially when you've been to Superstar on mission in SF. But then again, it's the only pinoy joint around the area with good silogs.

I haven't gone here in a while but last time i was here the place was smaller and the owner tended the front and was so friendly. Today it was a young woman who didn't seem happy with her job at all. She wasn't blatantly rude but she was visibly not happy. I also noticed that the hummus and pita bread was gone. This review is not for the food but for the change that was made that made me not feel at home here at all. The owner was such a happy person and the vast contrast between him and the young woman in the front is huge.

The halo halo was my favorite favorite thing here. Food was also good. Pretty authentic. A lot of my Filipino coworkers come here.

We finally got around to trying this place this weekend- it's hard to find decent Filipino food south of Daly City! We got the lumpia, tocilog, and spamsilog- everything was really good! Both entrees came with 2 eggs and some tasty garlic rice- this definitely isn't health food, but it was pretty tasty!

A definite hole in the wall place. They offer good comfort food! I'm sitting writing this review while I am waiting for my food and my mouth is watering as I smell the food being cooked. This is not a place I would expect anything fancy. But you can expect good Filipino comfort food. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. So it's not place to come for dinner. They also offer free soup with your order. Salamat po!

I just absolutely love this place. I've been here a couple of times and I'm highly impressed by the flavor of the food. The portions here are awesome and the workers are friendly. When you order you will receive a small bowl of soup that has some veggies and pasta shells. I never tried it because I can't have milk but I've been told it's good by people I've brought here. You also have to try the lumpia when you come here. They are soo cute and deliciously crunchy. I've ordered a traditional breakfast and pancit. The breakfast comes just as pictured. A nice serving of Garlic rice, 2 eggs over easy and the meat. The meat does contain some fatty bits but that always just adds to the flavor. The pancit is one of my favorite things I've tried here. Comes with pieces of chicken and veggies. The noodles have a chow mein egg style noodle and the traditional thing rice noodle. I'm always super full leaving here.

Order my food but the owner/cashier ask to pay up which I agreedly do. His cash register does not work so I took my sit waited almost 20 mins ask if my food ready? He say is not cause he busy fixing the cash register and the piece of order paper got covered!? He told me I couldn't pay anyway the register is fixing told him he could have told me instead of me just sitting there! Cancel my order and never ever go again!!!

Horrible service! Save your money and go somewhere else. The owner of the place showed up at 9am to open the register but took my order at 7:30am. I waited an hour and a half only to get mediocre tocino with obvious food coloring. Go to a more authentic filipino restaurant.

Last minute choice but definitely worthy to be in my top 5 Belmont brunch spots. The space is cozy and quaint, def felt like I was at home (thank god since I wore the sweats I slept in). Had the tocilog which came in a heaping fatty portion . Garlic rice was solid and also generously portioned. Will definitely come back, order more, and eat whatever else the people at the table had too.

Everything was delicious. I was dancing in my seat as I ate and was in a good mood all day after this meal. Will go back and recommend to anyone. Also that arroz caldo is my new favorite. 😍 Exceeded my expectations. The staff was great too. Friendly and helpful.

Great place in southern peninsula to satisfy my silog craving!!! I usually get the bangsilog, and I've definitely ordered the lumpia to share. Everything is fantastic and what I would expect an authentic Filipino to taste like (yes I am Filipino). A little on the pricier side for Filipino breakfast, but it's in my area and I don't have to drive all the way to Daly City or South San Francisco. They have coffee and water for you to serve yourself in the back. Service for me has actually been a little on the slow side, but I will definitely be a regular here (-:

3.5 stars! The first time I came here I ordered the tapsilog (marinated beef) and I wasn't impressed, but this time around I ordered the pork sinigang (tamarind based broth soup) extra sour and it was great! The portion was food and the broth is homey and comforting especially on a cold day. The service was also friendly! I'm coming back for more!
