Great old timey american food. service is a bit slow, but the personality of the staff make up for it. Steak au poivre, scallops, and crepe suzette are excellent. steak au poivre and the crepe suzette are flame cooked next to your table.

Great place. Good is exceptional. The only complaint is that they don't tell you you pay for refills on the sodas. At $6 each (and 1/2 ice) , i think it's a little unreasonable [ 24.00 for 2 diet cokes ]. Shame !

Just WOW! Everything was amazing! Giuseppe was our server. Such a wonderful man. Very personable. Always available, with suggestions. We ordered a zucchini type of appetizer. So yummy. We both ordered the steak Diane. They cook it in front of you. The dessert was delicious. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

This is the second time we come to Iron Gate. The food is excellent, the steak was cooked to the exact way I wanted for medium. We had both the steak Diane and pepper steak cooked at the table. It was quite entertaining, and the owner who was cooking for us was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place, and would definitely come back again.

The Iron Gate is a French restaurant that you do not want to miss. The food is outstanding and the service impeccable. Some of our favorites are Steak Diane and La Laison Iron Gate. The soufflés are the best in the world! Everything we have ever tasted is incredible. You will not be disappointed! It is a hidden gem in the Peninsula.

We started with crabcakes, mushrooms, then the Iron Gate salad, the veal Oscar was unbelievable. It must also be noted that our waiter Joseph made the experience let dining with an old friend. The entire experience was wonderful and we will be going to the Iron Gate again soon,
