The food was excellent-deluxe Chirashi bowl was loaded with a variety of fish, a little uni and a sweet tender spotted shrimp. I really enjoyed the rice as well. My companions had the Kikoro roll and the tuna mango roll. Both were beautiful & delicious. Service was quick and professional. Love it. I will definitely come back again.

I don't know if the guy behind the counter was having a bad day, but I when he said "I help you?" He said it like, "Why are you annoying me by walking in here?" It was lunch time and I was hoping to pick up something quick. I ask if there was anything pre-made and he said "Yeah, you can go to Safeway." I did a 180. The place didn't have any customers. Maybe I found out why.

Food is great, many innovative dishes and wide selection of options. Service is very quick. Even though the place isn't that small, people waiting for their tables are standing inside the restaurant, very close to people dining. That is a bit weird so try to get a table away from the entrance.

This is an updated review. The omakase is special . Very tasty and amazing fish from Japan. It's not cheap but high value . Service is excellent. The nigiri melts in your mouth. A gem in Belmont which is full of mediocre restaurants. A must go.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. First time checking out Belmont. I don't believe this is a part of the downtown area, but there was no issues parking so we're happy about that. We came in just the right time to beat the rush! It got crowded starting from around 7pm. We shared a super sugoi box and double toro roll between the two of us, and received edamame as part of the service. It was the perfect amount for us, as there's not as much carbs in the super sugoi box. I was impressed with the quality of each item in the box considering how easily we walked in to the restaurant over the weekend. The uni and amaebi were high quality - I don't think I've had amaebi so thick and juicy. The sashimi were seasoned perfectly. The double toro roll is probably not something we would have ordered if we actually read the menu because it has mango in it, but it was the refreshing taste that made the roll unique. Also impressed that they use fresh leaves for decoration and not plastic! I'd absolutely go back but only for another special occasion as the super sugoi box was a bit expensive, but it's a must-order if you're going here.

Ever since Kiroro opened it has been our go to Sushi spot. We walk, eat some delicious sushi and have some saki bombs then stagger back home. Food is always delicious.

Hidden Gem in a local Belmont, redwood shores neighborhood. Fresh, high-quality fish & scallops& Uni, especially the 15 piece Omakase is equivalent to or better than Michelin levels sushi restaurant. Highly recommend it. An.Excellent deals , I would come here over the city over-rated Michelin rated sashimi/ sushi! The super tuna toro rolls is a must try, not any other regular sushi restaurant. Also good selection of sake.

Great lunch place. Menu has good variety of selections especially for vegetarian. I am not a vegetarian but we tried the vegetarian roll: Tiger Veggie rolls and they are surprisingly good for me. Service is good. Nice ambiance. Great parking too! Will definitely go back.

We had a party of 11 with several hungry kids. The server kept us waiting and kept adding time to their promised time when the table will be ready. There were clearly tables they could have put together to avoid us from having to wait. No apologies, snobby attitude. I support small businesses and its unfortunate that this one did not welcome our business. Since we couldn't tel when a table will actually be ready, we had to take our business elsewhere. Just beware that they don't seem to welcome big party with kids.
