In my experience this was an ok sandwich. The pastrami was delicious however I felt the bread fell somewhat short for a place that specializes in sandwiches. I place a high value on the roll since that is the foundation of a sandwich. I love a crisp crust that is not too thick and bread that has just the right amount of chew. While the sandwich was not bad, because of the bread it wasn't one that I would hurry back for. Just my opinion according to what I like... YMMV (No reflection on the staff which were pleasant)

A hidden gem and great sandwich spot overall. I called ahead to place an order for my sandwich and it was ready in about 15 minutes. I heard the wait can be up to 30 minutes so try to plan accordingly if it's lunch hour! I got the Turkey sandwich with everything on it which comes with a great garlic spread and fresh vegetables and bread. Staff is always very friendly whenever I come here, and the ingredients are always fresh. Keep in mind the limited hours during the day. Definitely recommend!

The best, no notes. Super fresh ingredients, some of the best customer service I've ever seen, and absolutely delicious sandwiches. There are plenty of places to get a good sandwich on the peninsula, but I think this is the best. They do get busy (people know Lorenzo's), but I've always been able to call ahead and place a pickup order, never had an issue.

I saw this place had great reviews and thought I'd give it a try, and it lives up to those reviews!! I ordered the Super Turkey Sandwich (#20) on dutch crunch, and added avocado to it. It was very yummy!! That cream cheese & cranberry combo is what did it! I also ordered the Hot Pastrami + cream cheese on dutch crunch, and it was good, nothing crazy. I ordered in person and got both sandwiches in less than 10 minutes, although, I did notice that most people do call-in orders for pick-up. The customer service was great. FYI: no indoor seating...it is a small shop and you order at the door. First time trying and definitely coming back again!

Great sandwich spot! Walked up and placed an order right before 12pm. Waited less than 10 minutes. I noticed that most people called ahead. My order was placed at the door and I waited with everyone else outside. The store was very small. Got the combo sandwich on sourdough. It came with their garlic spread- I added the jalapeño spread, as well. My sandwich tasted very fresh and delicious. It was a pretty stacked sandwich, so I only ate half. Highly recommend!

A pretty good sandwich for a good price. There's not really anything special about the place tastes like homemade sandwich on a nice piece of bread. Can't have a better cold sandwich.
Unsure waiting 45min-1hr everytime I call to get a sandwich is worth it. It's a sandwich and plenty others around w faster service. Hire more help.

Love this little sandwich shop that is good at what they do! We order ahead and by the time we drive down and park our order is ready. Mods, no problem these guys r pros, ur sandwich will always be right just how u like it! Obsessed with the garlic sauce! Seems too much to get onions, brown mustard AND garlic sauce? It totally isn't! Love how the sandwich (on Dutch crunch of course) is tightly made, not gloopy or messy! For our sandwiches, this is the spot!

This is a nice little hole in the wall sandwhich shop that has been around forever. The service is great. The people are nice. Their sandwich's aren't going to wow you and are not my go to/must have's but they are quality for what you pay for and they do have good flavor. Definitely in the top tier for San Carlos Sandwich shops.
