Hidden gem! Best self service fro yogurt place in the bay! You’d really love the whole experience, from mixing up your flavors to adding all the toppings.

Exactly what you want and expect from a frozen yogurt place. Fast self-serve process, with a good variety of flavors and toppings. Today I got a cup of tart with small mochi pieces on top. The price was average. The cashier was very nice and I was able to get in and out of this place quickly so I could catch the next SamTrans ECR bus. Overall, 4/5.

I really enjoy your frozen yogurt. The reason I am giving this business 1-star is for one major reason that can be resolved fairly quick (if so, I will gladly revise my review to 5-stars). I believe I am qualified to make these statements due to my previous experience working in a restaurant industry.

Menchie's is an ice cream shop. A self-service ice cream shop. Within the past year, Menchie's has started requiring a selection for tips prior to making a payment.

Just to put this into perspective, this is like Safeway adding a tip function for bringing all my groceries to the checkout and having them scanned by an employee. Can you imagine that? I sure can't. Look, I get it, most of these employees are young and trying to make a living (I was in college working at a restaurant myself), but this is a business that needs to pay the appropriate wage to their employees rather than pushing for tips at a self-service ice cream shop. I really hope you can take my advice and remove tips from the payment process. Thanks.

A very cute place. Lots of flavors and a wide selection of toppings. They have 3 different sauces as well. We tried the original, chocolate, strawberry and tiramisu flavors. They were good.

My experience with Menchies was not great at all. I wanted to go for a while and was saving it for a special moment. It was at a later time and about 15 minutes before they had closed so I called them to see if it was okay if I could get served at 9 when they close, and they said that would be okay. I rushed over and I arrived at 8:58. When I walked in, they said that they couldn’t serve me because it was closed but, according to the clock they weren’t. I kept saying that they weren’t closed yet but they still wouldn’t serve me which was a bit ridiculous and frankly disappointing. I felt embarrassed and shamed given how they weren’t really acknowledging me and expected me to just leave. I’m usually not a stickler for these things and don’t write reviews like this but it really was a horrible experience for me.

It's great that they have a couple of non-dairy flavors, including Dole whip, but there should be more than just fruit flavors. Non-dairy chocolate should be standard all the time.

Pulled out a long hair in the yogurt from my cup, half the hair was in my mouth. Yuk. Hairnets should be mandatory. otherwise good yogurt.
