When this location is open, I've experienced great service and consistent coffee, drinks, and food. The only complaint I have is that they randomly close early. The San Carlos Laurel street location is much more reliable that way.

Okay, I got spoiled...I came when it wasn't that busy and asked for a French Press....Typically, they don't anymore...I got lucky. A French Press of their supernatural so I paired it with a blueberry muffin... wasn't planning on pursuing the food, but it paired so well, and the staff IS SO amazing...One of the best chill spots for report writing.

I was in line this morning when yet again a regular customer was arguing over the point system with the staff. The customer has done this before and was very rude to the staff. The service I had was fantastic and both workers were friendly. The regular customer than started to speak out against the others in line because we respectfully asked her to allow others to go as we have to get to work. I am leaving this here because the staff should not he subject to dealing with a regular customer that treats them that way. I am hoping this will find its way to the manager of this location and that they realize that this was an issue with the customer and not the staff. The service is always great here and to see the staff having to deal with that is frustrating as I spent years in customer service.

Smaller Peet's, only a few tables around the center coffee making, and tight tables and chairs. Not the best for intimate conversations, your back is right against neighbors.

It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving and you'd think you'd want some normalcy at your nearest Peet's Coffee. Walked in and they had some soft Holiday music playing. Half the tables set up were empty, but there was still a steady flow of customers coming in and out either to order or pick up an order. I ordered oatmeal and a small cup of hot matcha green tea. I appreciated how the condiments (dry blueberries, almonds and brown sugar were individually packed). And I thought the hot oatmeal was delicious! But to serve your customer with piping hot tea in paper material cup without a sleeve, is that even safe? Normally the other Peet's locations I go to serve the sleeves...but not this location.

Love the recent Peet's ads... Coffee for coffee people. Unlike Dutch Bros with its XL cups of coffee-flavored sugar, or Starbucks with its consistently burnt taste; Peets serves a consistent great tasting cappuccino no matter which store I'm in. Belmont is my fav in the area. Though it is small it is mighty. I've seen the same folks for ages both baristas and customers. Excellent service and quick to respond to requests. The team clearly enjoy working there and with each other. If you're going to work from this space: Small tables that accommodate 2 chairs line the walls. One wall with short takes has access to outlets. Small bar to stand at the window. A few high boy tables with tall chairs, I don't recall if there are outlets along that wall. I highly recommend buying beans here in store rather than a grocery store! Beans are fresh because they moved quickly here, plus they will ground them for you.

Would love to give 5*s all around, but the woman who is taking up a table everyday all day with her painting and 'art' work is super rude and very standoffish. Makes me not want to come in despite the AMAZING staff here! She was hissing at me while I was waiting for my coffee and blurting out "SPACE?!? SPACE!?!" as if she was owed something. Really frustrating to see someone take up so much space and time here while (probably) spending next to nothing to help support this location. I'm all for coming to a coffee shop and spending time with my community, but this person sets up a mini 'art' gallery and is also advertising her 'art' to make a dime while being rude to regular customers and asking for 'space' in a crowded coffee shop?? I think she's only been here for maybe 9mo or so, but it's frustrating to no end...
