Just their last night, they are really great, meet you at the door, seating was comfortable, their food is over the top delicious, salads, wow o wow, fresh and tasty filled with cheese and a mild dressy, perfect. We had a compo plate, filled with chicken, beef, lamb, cook to perfection. All the yastes and aroma s were a delight.

Today I went to Shalizar and ordered Shirin Polo and Bakhtiari. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff and the manager were incredibly kind and attentive. The food was the highlight. The Shirin Polo was outstanding. Rich, perfectly balanced, and absolutely worth ordering. The Koobideh and Barg were also cooked just right, tender and full of flavor. Overall, the quality of the food is excellent and truly brings back the taste of Iran. They also serve fresh, hot bread with herbs, cheese, and nuts before the main meal, which was a really nice touch.

The Grills: The Lamb Kabab is incredibly tender, and the Koobideh is seasoned to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and charred just right. Baghali Polo with Lamb Shank: The lamb shank literally falls off the bone, and the Baghali Polo (fava bean and dill rice) is aromatic and perfectly fluffy. To wash it all down, their Dough (yogurt drink) is refreshing and acts as the perfect traditional accompaniment to the savory meats. Finally, make sure to save room for dessert. Ending the night with a warm glass of tea paired with their flaky Baklava or the sweet, syrupy Zoolbia Bamieh is the only way to go. Highly recommended for anyone craving genuine Persian flavors!

Shalizar is by far the best Persian food in the area. Price, quality and service is really great. Once you seat, you immediately get a dish of fresh vegetables, cheese, walnuts and bread (for free) which I believe is really unique. Highly recommended👌🏻
It was a pleasant experience. The food was good and tasted fresh, and the menu had plenty of options to choose from. The restaurant building was nice and beautiful, which made the visit enjoyable. Overall, it’s one of the best Persian restaurants I’ve tried, and I’d recommend giving it a shot.

We started out with Appetizers 1- Mirza Ghasemi 2- kashki bademjon 3- noon panir sabzi ( bread- cheese- greens) Complimentary - it was brought to the table when we were seated
For the Main dishs, we ordered 1- kobideh chicken( ground chicken) 2- kobideh beef( ground beef ) 3- shishleek(lamb rack) Everything was shared family style and was enough for four adults and two children. The kobideh and lamb chops were all devoured. We all enjoyed the food and company

We had an amazing experience at Shalizar Persian Restaurant. The best service! We ordered the lamb kebab and the chicken — both were incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The desserts were just as impressive: the tiramisu was delicious, and the Persian ice cream had such a beautiful, unique taste.
