This Starbucks is near me so I invariably end up here, but really not sure why I continue to come.This place, regardless of personnel, routinely lose or do not make my order. Whether I order in the store or on mobile, 3 times out of 5 I end up waiting forever for my order (or I have to ask and find out the order was 'lost' somehow), which is always simple - either a plain coffee or coffee with espresso added.Today was typical... remembering that the last time I was here and waited over 20 minutes for a coffee with an espresso shot while numerous people that came in following me and ordered complex drinks were served ahead of me, I thought I'd keep it really simple. So I ordered a coffee. Plain coffee. Even asked the girl at the counter what kind of roast they had and she pointed out those available (she pointed at the machine immediately behind her). So I ordered a 'tall' coffee. 20 minutes later I am standing there, virtually everyone in the store has cleared out including people who came in after me and ordered complicated drinks. Yet I am standing there looking at the two people 'working' there and nothing. No order, certainly no one grabbing a cup and putting it under the 'Pikes Place' spigot, which is what I expected when I made such a simple order. Yet again, no order.I don't know what it is, maybe because I'm older, who knows. Everyone there can't be incompetent, I'm not that cynical...Now someone may ask why I didn't say anything this time. Because - I shouldn't have to. They are a coffee shop, I ordered the simplest of coffees. Yet routinely, and again today, I cannot seem to get served reliably. This place is the worst, unfortunately it is the only one walking distance in our neighborhood.Actually I was relieved to see other reviews from people in the area, seems I am not the only one who has this experience at the Carlmont Starbucks.Wouldn't it be great if someone from Starbucks or the management at that store (assuming some exist) read the Yelp reviews? Maybe they could do something about the 'service' at their business.

Don't get the caramel creme brulee unless you like burnt caramel flavor. It was undrinkable.Otherwise the service at this location is wonderful and it's not their fault the flavor is horrible.

Newly remodeled and the service is great the customers thought don't seem too take care of their kids and let them climb on the new low tables and chairs. Leaving their shoe prints as proof of their unruly attitude and the parents lack of supervision.

I love Starbucks and typically have an amazing experience, the workers are kind most of the time. Except today. it began when I received a text from my female friend asking me to hand her some extra pants and a pad in the bathroom because she had simply bled through her original pair of pants. It was truly no big deal. I had walked to the bathroom, and she opened the door to receive her pants when all of a sudden an adult, male, tall brunette worker began yelling at us. He had begun to say all kinds of unnecessary rude remarks such as "ONE AT A TIME. GET OUT. I'M NOT DEALING WITH THIS SH!T TODAY." and continued to roll his eyes at me, a young woman who was just trying to help a friend out. I would've respected the "one at a time rule," but it was the way that this worker had expressed this rule to me that disappointed me. the rude tone, the yelling, and the swearing. I was beyond shocked to the point where I couldn't even form words. It was so disgraceful, beyond rude, and extremely disrespectful. I can't even form words for how upset I feel about his lack of respect for his customers.

This is your average run-of-the-mill Starbucks. Very small. Perhaps 3 tables inside the store. There are a few outdoor seats additional. Gets super crowded with the folks waiting for drinks literally standing over the seats inside.I do not recommend for any type of reading books or working on a laptop. It is near a hole-in-the-window type of joint. Fortunately, there's a lot of places to squat and chat in the strip mall - especially next to the Waterdog Tavern.Parking: Plenty of parking in the strip mall.

I've been coming to this location a few times now before heading to work in the mornings, and I'd have to say for my last visit, the barista did an excellent job with making my drink. It tasted perfect. It wasn't overflowed and did not spill in my car. My drink also doesn't look sloppy. The barista was also very nice to me. I give 5 stars for this visit only. This Starbucks is probably one of the cleanest locations I've been to. The first few times I ordered the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte with Oat Milk, the female barista rushed my drink and it didn't look presentable. It was overflowed and spilled in my car. She also looked annoyed when I asked her if my croissant was ready. I've been ordering mostly through the Starbucks app, and it gives an estimated time stamp for the order. Soo it's normal to check in with the barista for your order. I never got her name, but it was a barista working the morning shift.

Ride employees; Cold drink asked for them to warm it my drink sat there for thirty-ish minutes and then I finally just picked up it was still cold and I just drank it. But that was just a bad experience with one employee since then the other employees were great

No outlets so I got annoyed I paid for mediocre coffee (other locations make better drinks) with the intent of working. That should be on the door so customers know whether to stay or find a different location. Also, one of the workers was rudely mopping underneath my table and putting tables right next to me to cue me to leave 15 minutes before closing!

Isaac the worker there was very nice and friendly. And made sure to say hello to every guest that walked in. He helped my girlfriend and I with our problem. Great Worker!

Bathroom still closed... long after covid. A little hard to keep the germs at bay, when you can't wash your hands. Is the staff too lazy to maintain the bathroom?

Super clean store and service was friendly and quick. They made delicious drinks and the store was clean inside and out. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the Belmont area.
