I ordered a maguro & combo F. I will be back. The miso soup is fragrant and flavorful. The raw fish roll was fresh and clean. The combo F meal was massive they could do with 1/3rd of the fish in the plate but regardless. If you want sushi this place is perfect.

Tasty local Japanese joint. The lunch specials are a good value.

incredibly poor customer service. Appears they have zero restaurant experience. The first time, I received my entree LOOOONG before my husband received his. Being polite, I didn’t eat before his arrived. The second time, our appetizers arrived LOOOOONG after we had eaten our entrees. The third time, yes, I’ll admit it was busy — we signed in on the notepad. There were 2 groups ahead of us. They got seated. A party of 5 came in after us and were seated right away because it was “a long table”. Another party of 2 came in, they stood & waited. After 20 min, another party of FIVE came in and again, got seated RIGHT AWAY. That was it. I threw my hands up and snapped & said we’re leaving. The other party of 2 also left. I get it. 5 people = more $. Also, though we’ve never done it, they offer an all you can eat option. So people just CAMP there. This place is FAR TOO SMALL to offer all you can eat. We will NOT be going back. Sushi Roka across the street is delish & treats their customers well.

The service was great and the food was fresh. I loved the shrimp tempura and the different sushi options - of which there were many.

My new personal favorite for Sushi. The service is excellent and the food is fresh. I enjoy the shrimp tempura and the different options for sushi - of which there are many. My go-to choices are either “G-Spot” or “Washington Roll” for the sushi. I also liked the rainbow roll and the Mackerel.

Sushi monster is a fun sushi option for a large variety of rolls. It is always busy during lunchtime and there is a wait if you drop in during rush hour.

The restaurant is run like a mom and pop shop and gives off those vibes.
Parking is only street parking.

If you like your sushi deep fried to perfection, this is the place for you! My wife got horribly ill soon after we went, with symptoms that match either food poisoning or the crab in her dish was actually imitation crab (which she is allergic to). Deep fried sushi amuses me, but based on my wife's experience, we won't be back.

Really cool hideaway type location! I am vegetarian and I ordered the wrong type of veggie sushi. It was too seafood tasting to me but they noticed and helped me get a avocado and cucumber roll without seaweed which was delicious. They have soda, beer, tea, apple juice. Yummy! ?

Vegetarian options: Just order without seaweed if you do not like a fish or seafood taste. Also no seaweed salad :)
