Tavern, used to be a great hang out place. We will miss it. It’s now called JimBurg and they have a different menu and vibe. For all practical purposes, The Tavern is now closed.

Food was average. Feels a bit understaffed and not real competitive to other similar restaurants

Made reservations, sat in the back of the restaurant. No AC and we were sweating the entire time. The server/manager is walking around with a demeanor that was not welcoming and sunglasses on at night.Food took an hour to come out. Fries cold, 45 min later a forgotten salad, which we had to ask to have removed from our bill.Convenient spot, loads of potential but they got to fix things.

I've been twice since the new people took over and I've been impressed with the food. The lady who greeted us at this visit seemed a bit annoyed to be there and that we were there but once we were seated our server was really nice. I had the salmon bowl and it was delicious! We sat outside which is always beautiful although there did seem to be a bit of a wasp and fly problem. We had to keep waving them away from our food and table which wasn't ideal but we chose to sit outdoors and I guess that's their space. ??‍♀️

Wonderful setting where I did not expect it - fountains, stream, plants and plantings. The food was plentiful but not exceptional.

This was my first time here and I was pretty disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Love the creek on the patio and that they are dog friendly. Unfortunately with that comes lots of bees so be careful! It killed the outdoor experience for me. Also, the food was not good at all. I had the adult chicken fingers. They were very bland. My husband has the tri tip special that was chewy and undercooked. I can not recommend this place.

We used to come here all the time before the new ownership. The entire experience used to be absolutely amazing. Now, it's barely ok. The food is overpriced, poorly prepared, and rarely fresh. The service is hit-and-miss and many of the servers seem to be new and unfamiliar with the industry. Despite the generally amazing ambiance, even the creek that runs through the back area seems poorly maintained and full of trash.Whether for a weekend brunch, a hearty lunch after a hike, or dinner, the food used to be amazing. We never had a meal that wasn't memorable. The pendulum has swung completely in the opposite direction, at times being inedible and never worth the lofty price. We'll still come for a cocktail from time to time, but apart from that and the (albeit declining) ambiance, I cannot recommend this place. It seems the local population agrees, as it never seems to be the bustling hotspot it used to be.

Whomever had the idea of taking over part of a garden center to use for outdoor dining was a genius. Such a tranquil spot to enjoy good food with great service.

Good food. Had the Ceasar salad w/salmon...very tasty. Friend had a huge veggie burger w/fries and my brother had a good sized roast beef sandwich. Both were very happy. The food was a bonus as we went to to sax player Michael O'Reilly perform. Outstanding music/musicians with him.Beautiful setting, quick service and reasonable prices. Great outside area also. Definitely on my go to places.

Food was not hot/fresh. Try not to wear really short shorts if you sit on the patio in those metal chairs. The atmosphere was pretty grand. The foliage and man made creek were full of life! Service was attentive to our animals which were allowed on the patio - very cool that there is dog specific menu items! None of this makes up for room temperature tritip (4th of July special), Jambalaya, or the cold peach cobbler. Would have been great to sit in the breeze in super hot weather. It was still pleasant, but I appreciated wearing a jacket.
