Ordered eggs Benedict with potatoes...the potatoes were dry, overcooked and had excessive salt and pepper...it seems like we're sitting on the pan all morning after like left over from breakfast.the egg Benedict had water and the portions of mushrooms ? way to little.

The food was ok but expensive. I paid $25 for frozen pre-battered fish and chips. Tasted ok. Each piece was exactly the same size and shape. Wow!

Parking: not to many parking spaces with all the business here.Food: delicious, good selectionsPrice: $$$ $68 for 3 plates n 2 drinksAtmosphere: indoor / outdoor seating. Indoors was packed, and outdoors has no heating and broken umbrella blocking the view of your loved ones.

Was a quick turn in on the way to IHOP...My daughter loves crepes so I decided to surprise her after reading raving reviews. That was the highlight of today's adventure. She did get her crepes. You walk in, you breathe in the quaint beautiful environment, then take a look at the chalkboard mural menu. The first thing you notice is no prices. You wait to be seated, and that's when a cashier asks if you're ready to order. How hoity toity...By then you think to yourself that you hope you're in for a treat. That's where it ends.We sit outside in the beautiful sunny but slightly windy day. The staff racing around to close the umbrellas. As everyone picks up their phones, I do as always, watch people and wait. (Must be a military thing)After 20 plus minutes our food arrives. Not hot, but warming light temperature, whatever. My daughter tears through her crepes, as she says, "before the whipped creme turns to soup". I dig into my breakfast, sampling the apple sausage, not impressed, and nowhere near flavor town, just bland. Eggs scrambled, no way to mess that up. Oh but the country potatoes were on point. Only had they been fresher this review would have been better. The little lady was not impressed either. Said IHOP would have been much better for the cost and would have saved enough for a movie after also. Agreed...Judging by the clientele, Porsches, Teslas, BMWs in park, elderly in tow. The look at me crowd had rolled in after church. Seems that a taco truck entrepreneur learned a little something here in the peninsula. Keep the prices hidden, make it pretty on the eyes, make the staff look formal and they'll rant and rave about anything you serve them.Ps... you may want to put more weight on your umbrellas. Had to jump into quick action to keep some of the hoity toity from being clobbered by falling umbrellas and tables. The cute waitress was appreciative because it would have Mary Poppins here to San Carlos.

The Belmont was quite tasty. I recommend it. The portions are good and food came out quickly. I appreciate their willingness to modify my order.I was disappointed with a side of avocado that had bruises in it and needed surgery in multiple places to remove them (see pic) as well as giving a jam that had a hole in the top. ? I’m a little annoyed to have paid what I payed given this.

Great food! You do order at the counter, so that's why just three stars for service. It is a low key breakfast-place atmosphere - very informal. Good for kids.Parking: The restaurant is in a little strip mall with plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in from parking lot.

Nice enough place for breakfast. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast were all prepared well. The server came by a couple of times to refill my coffee. The price seemed just a little high.

Very, very similar to crepeville and other similar restaurants. Slightly larger menu. Pretty good quality, but you'll likely still be somewhat hungry if you go on an empty stomach. Atmosphere is in pleasant but forgettable. Good service though.

When we walked in and saw the beautiful menu mural, we thought we were in for a great breakfast but we were proven wrong. It started with the worst chai latte I've ever had. Both of our crepes were underwhelming. The peaches in my crepe were like the kind from a can and had a fridge-y taste. They were also freezing cold and hard to eat. The only part of our meal we liked were the fries. At least the staff was decently friendly.Parking: Shared parking lot

Whispers has even my favorite place to meet friends for many years. But the last two times, a week apart, were very disappointing. Prices have been removed from the menu board and are not even provided if you ask when ordering. I was told both times that if I wanted to know the prices I had to go online and visit their website. Ridiculous! They have raised their prices significantly. Although the food is still very good, the attitude of the people at the counter was arrogant and rude each time. However, I must say the servers were very nice. For some customers this may not be a problem, but it was for me. I’m not sure I’ll go back. This was my go-to spot for meeting friends; sadly, not so anymore. So disappointed.

I really liked the crepes. Didn't try anything that would be normal "breakfast food", so I cannot rate on that, but the crepe was really nice. I got the ala Jack, and they filled it UP. It was surprisingly filling despite the smallish size, and I was satisfied. I had the option of fries, house potatoes, fruit, or salad. Personally, the fries and potatoes were kinda mid, and I would recommend getting the fruit or salad. The crepe was also a bit small in relation to the price ( $18.99!) They also have an item named "one scrambled egg". Unfortunately I am not 12 or under, but I would have loved to try "one scrambled egg"

Standard American style creperie with the usual menu of crepes, waffles, pancakes etc. Got a nice patio seating area as well.Parking: Decent number of parking spots right in the front.

The food is pretty good but the service is very slow and the prices are unbelievably high. $20 for a breakfast burrito. I won’t be coming back.

This place had really good food! Fresh, yummy, and decent portions. No wait for a table and the wait to actually get our food wasn’t too bad. Has outdoor seating in good weather. However this place IS pretty expensive for what you get, especially since everything is a la carte; I spend less at another breakfast restaurant with actual table service to get the same or more food. If you’re okay with spending $55 for two people with no leftovers, then this place won’t concern!
