What’s better than eating outside on a deck where you can view the San Francisco Bay? We make a whole day of the journey catching a ferry to Tiburon, walking to Sam’s and choosing from a large variety of seafood that is now impossible to find in my home town. Sure a seagull may scoop down and fly away with your bread but that just adds to the charm and come as you are atmosphere. Always friendly welcoming waiters and bar staff. Too hot for you just dine in the historic wood bar or tables. They now have yoga on the deck which sounds amazing! Why not try a few shops after lunch or brunch before catching the ferry home. Wonderful lobster roll, clams and calamari. Salads are all generous and delightful.
Vegetarian options: Salad choices for my vegetarian mom.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room and fun things for my son to look at being on the water!

This is such a cool place! Great food, heated seats, blankets, and we were able to pull the boat right up to the dock at the restaurant! The food was very fresh and the staff did an amazing job! We will definitely be back.

Awesome brunch place in Tiburon. Great cocktails and food. When I went it a beautiful and sunny day and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.
There was a mixture of locals and tourists enjoying the weather and the food was also incredible. Definitely want to go back and try more things in the future.

Sam’s was recommended so we were excited to check it out. It was a busy Sunday and we’re told the wait would be 1 1/2 hrs- and we would have 5 mins to respond. Ok . We came back at the 1 hr mark - no longer a line so decided to check the status only to be extremely disrespected by the hostess telling me “I told you it would be 1 1/2 hrs - it’s been 1 hr so it will be another 1/2 hr - as you were told “ ok . Maybe she is having a bad day. I stepped back against a wall where there was a bit of shade to wait my additional 1/2 hr as told. There was no one in line and she looked at me and said “are you waiting to check in” I said no we’ve already checked in and she said then “you need to wait somewhere else so I can check people in the check in line” there was no one there but me ! I wanted to leave but we had been waiting so long already - 5 min later they called us. Our server was extremely nice and my husband told him about our experience so far- he conveyed it to the mgr. Who came by and thanked us for letting them know. I was so uncomfortable with this hostesses rude and disrespectful behavior We will Never go back. This establishment needs to do better with there customers first impression of their business.
