I usually enjoy this coffee shop, but today made me rethink that. I bought a coffee, stepped across the street to pick up my food (about 15 or so minutes), and returned to top off my cup—only to be told refills aren’t allowed if I leave the property. To make it worse, I was charged for a second cup.
I understand policies, but enforcing this so rigidly lacks common sense and consideration for loyal customers. It’s not like I was gone for hours or trying to take advantage, I rarely refill and tip well. A little flexibility, common sense, and good judgment would go a long way in creating a better experience.

Want to enjoy a cup of Hot chocolate on a cold winter morning near Santa Cruz Big Basin area? Coffee Nine is definitely your go to place! Delicious Hot chocolate and Bagels! Sesame Bagels with Pesto is just worth it! A good breakfast can definitely make your day!

Killing time today before school pickup and decided to stop in. Super cute little place! The manager was really friendly and made an excellent coffee for me. Not much GF options so sadly I couldn’t get anything to eat but he assured me that they are working on expanding their menu as he is GF himself. Will be back for the delicious coffee regardless. 😊

Coffee 9 has been the go-to coffee shop in Ben Lomond for decades. Always a friendly and comfortable hang out. Recent (a couple years?) ownership change resulted in some good upgrades to facility and menu. And now every time I order something that needs preparation, after waiting a few minutes the chef himself serves it to me. Nice touch! If you are looking for your morning blast, an afternoon pick-me-up, or just a quick snack, check out Coffee 9!
