My husband and I recently had The Cafe at the Inn cater our one-year anniversary party for 60 guests at the Inn's courtyard. The food was a standout highlight. We had quite a few guests come to tell us on the event day how fresh and delicious the food was.

We came to Chef Kyle with a budget in mind. He was chill, flexible, and communicative. He was able to meet us where we wanted to be, crafting a menu that was seasonable and delicious. The catering staff were wonderful too. They were super communicative and supportive on the event day.

For great food and a professional catering experience, The Cafe at the Inn is the only choice. We give them our high recommendation.

One of the Best tuna melts I’ve ever had, the tuna mix itself is fairly basic but it’s done exceptionally well. The rye bread is the best bread I’ve had. Just come on down and give it a try, workers are super friendly too

I absolutely LOVE this place. The food is so fresh and delicious, the servers are so kind and friendly, and the decor has so much charm and personality. I keep coming back to this happy place every time I'm in the area and the people I've brought along have loved it just as much 😊

Charming brunch spot with fresh food and friendly vibes!
The Café at the Inn is a hidden gem. The owners are warm and welcoming, and the staff is outgoing and attentive. Chef Kyle serves up delicious farm-to-table dishes that are both flavorful and beautifully presented. The café is clean with lovely, stylish décor, and the outdoor seating area is absolutely perfect—especially for a relaxing brunch with friends. Don’t miss the fresh mimosas!
Also, the manager, Sarah, is extremely cheerful and friendly and she makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. A true feel-good spot all around!

Sadly, food was flavorless. After spending over $50 I was wishing that I only got the cappuccino 🤗 that was good! I agree with others that the portions are too small. We came in at 3:15 on a Sunday. They close at 4. So, they were cleaning the whole time & it made me uncomfortable because I felt like they just wanted me to leave. Yeah, whatever. Cute place, nice idea.

We ordered a special omelet, coffee, an English Muffin with butter and jam (butter and jam cost extra) for two persons and it cost almost $80.00. The food was very good, but not excellent, the omelet small and cold by the time the muffin was served. The pricing is exhuberent and the service underwhelming. We will not return.

The place was nice and cool but my friends and I complained about the portions. They were relatively small considering the price range of $17-22. I wish they had more portions of food. Also the food was pretty mid.

Food was mediocre and service was nonexistent. Other than that, I won't be back!

Did you all know the cafe is open for dinner Thurs, Friday and Saturday?!
This is my husband and my go-to spot for a sit-down dinner or lunch in Benicia. We're so happy to have a restaurant that uses fresh farm-to-table ingredients in town. The burger is one of the best I've had, the salmon is always cooked to perfection, the BLT is delicious and their produce is always so fresh. They serve a new special each week, which is always fantastic and seasonal. Service is friendly and great and you can't beat the ambiance of the outdoor patio. Dinner is normally pretty quiet so please try it out and give this local biz some love!
