It's hard to believe the low reviews. We have sat here and ordered to go. Every experience has been consistent, the food has been well worth the price point. The prices is very average for any restaurant in Benicia for the people mentioning price. The women that run this place are very sweet and take care of their customers.

Ensenada has been in the Benicia Raleys shopping center for an
extremely long time and basically nothing about it has changed. Although conveniently located, it is small inside. The food is good, but nothing exceptional and the service depends upon how many people are working the shift.

Five of us went for dinner Sat night around 5pm and there was only one man working. He was amazing, busting his butt between front of the house and kitchen but come on, ya need more than one person to run a restaurant on a Sat night. Wait times were insanely slow but the food was tasty. I wouldn't want to go back unless they had more workers. They should also remove the opened bottle of Dayquil from the kitchen window.

I ordered food for pick up during hours of operation, the door was locked, no one answered, there was no sign saying that they would be closed today. All called three times, no option to leave voicemail

First time order to go.

This visit can be summed up as lack of effort and freshness of food. I asked if it'll be about 15 mins and was told 5 mins. Now I see why...

Super burrito: chicken was tasty but given a whole piece in the middle of burrito. Essentially rice and beans throughout and chunk of chicken smack dab in the middle.

Side of carne asada: I was given tough pieces the size of peas. They were likely left on the grill/warming area too long.

Side of fries: fries not crispy as described in menu.

Have been going to this restaurant since the early 90's when they first opened. Clean table, nice staff and food is authentic. Definitely try the taquitos.

Excellent food and great people. The first time was to go and the Carnitas was awesome! Second time I took my boss, this past weekend and sat down to some of the best street tacos I've had since I was actually down in Mexico. I am totally biased towards the woman running the show, even tho we were slow to order, she was cordial and pleasant, dealing with our yappiness ☺️ will continue to go here til I leave Ina couple of months ? even though it's a little out of the way. Highly recommend!
