I've been here plenty of times & never really had a problem. This last time I went the food wasn't good, the pizza so much sauce that the little bit of cheese that was in there slide right off & the dough was super thick. We went in on happy hour, which certain items are suppose to be $5 but the people who took my order charged me more for what the items were suppose to be. I wanted my 1/2 order of pasta to Davey jones but I received the captain jack instead. The garlic bread wasn't that good either, the bread was over cooked, so it was a bit hard. $17.60 for a cheese pizza is crazy. The total I paid I'd expect better tasting food.

It was a late lunch for me so it was very quiet. I ordered a simple cheese pizza and a small side salad. Nothing complicated, just a good ole pizza that only took about 10

Pizza is still delicious but the loss of salad bar and desire to help customers from the kids behind the counter is a real disappointment. Every pie and bread stick that came out of the oven while we waited over a half hour for a personal salad, two bread sticks, and a small pizza had huge air bubbles that were destroying the items piling up as they came out of the oven while all the employees were standing around hiding in the back. After waiting 20 minutes when I was told it would only take 10 minutes to get food we went back to the counter only to have the employees tell us they had no idea about the order we're talking about. Finally after going through all the employees we were given part of our order and had to remind them about the rest. Upon arriving home 45 minutes later we found these so called bread sticks that resembled piles of dough bubbles. Sad to see a great pizza place go so far downhill.

Good and friendly service. I didn't eat. Was there at a meeting where others ate. I can see that the service was great, and the waiters or whatever you call them were very friendly.

This place was a nice place to eat with the family. The pizza was great the staff was very friendly and they have a place for kids to play.Kid-friendliness: They have a arcade area where you can collect tickets and win prizes. Kinda like a little chuck e cheese.

The pizza was a disappointment. I ordered an artichoke heart, mushroom, and pepperoni pizza. It had exactly 2 artichoke hearts and about 5 single artichoke leaves on it. That's not enough. Really. A single artichoke leaf is not an artichoke heart. The mushrooms were sliced so thin (like paper) they were unrecognizable and had absolutely no flavor at all. That's not good. And it was expensive. I did not get my money's worth at all. It was also a takeout item. If I had been in the store, I would have asked for more toppings. I won't be going back.

The wings weren't too bad. Pretty tasty and not overly sauced or spicy. Not crispy but cooked with skin and fresh. The pizza was ok. The base was dry and a bit card boardish. And I didn't taste any pesto sauce. Not much cheese at all. Lots of topping though. It was a bit cold though so it had hardened up. I'm not sure why they didn't tell me it was ready and it sat for a long time. I tipped at the register when I paid soooo.... Idk. It was $25.00 for 6 wings 8 in Fridays foot print, no drink + tip. I love the ambiance of the restaurant. Very clean and comfortable.

I just love this pizza place. It reminds me of the one I used to go to with my family when I was a kid! So bustling with joyful energy, kids playing games, and the pirate theme is so fun. Their pizza is handsomely topped with gooey cheese and lots of toppings. The garlic twists that came with our salad were crispy on the outside and heaven inside, tender and teeth sinking-ly satisfying. I lived in San Francisco for years before moving to this area, and I didn't think it'd be possible to find a home pizzeria as cool as the ones I went to in SF. But, tada, Pizza Pirate has my number. Thank you for the friendly, efficient service, yummy dough preparations, and entertaining atmosphere, Pirate Friends! My husband and I are hooked on you.

I happened to be in Benecia for work on a Sunday and decided to grab a pizza from Pizza Pirate. The service here is the worst. I hate giving reviews like this. I'm really easy going. I know people have bad days or what not so I wouldn't even mention it if it were that kind of thing. These people went out of their way to be s#@$!y. Food was decent but not worth dealing with these a$$?@#!s

My kid LOVES pizza pirate's Maiden Voyage (cheese pizza). In their own words: "everywhere I've tried cheese pizza, the pizza at Pizza Pirate's is always the best!" We always have the to go and make a phone order. It's typically ready in 20-30minutes. They have a salad bar and pretty big seating areas and an arcade area as well.
