Cool place with darts, a pool table and even a shuffleboard. The drinks are a decent price and the location is right on first St in Benicia. Friendly staff and atmosphere set in a sports orientated genre.
Nice little neighborhood bar in downtown Benicia off first street. Open pretty late but still closes earlier than 2am. They have late night eats, TVs, and a happy hour menu. The bartenders were friendly and helped us with our drinks and their food menu didn’t look bad. Both indoor and outdoor space. Parking isn’t too hard as there is plenty of street parking around this area. Their starburst, gummy bear, and green tea shots during happy hour are $5 and pretty tasty and sweet.
Stopped in to see the new chef at rookies who cut his teeth at a famous resort in Napa as a sue Chef. Ask instead of the steak; he makes me some steak tacos. Named Jesus; he proceeded to make me not carne asada but straight nice and bloody Ribeye steak tacos lathered in his personal salsa he keeps in the fridge for special occasions.
