I wanted to like this place, but the food was disappointing. The chicken tortilla soup was strangely milky. The tacos were small. The vegan quesadilla was kind of gross / weird. We found ourselves comparing it to Dona's on Piedmont (which we prefer).

We really enjoyed the new location on College Ave near Ashby! The service was great and the food was even better than I remembered! Parking was available on the street but we also found out from the staff that there is public parking behind the buildings.

With a massive number of beers on tap, including one of my favorites, Chismosa, I got a good vibe just walking in the door of this place. The tacos are quite good. The carne asada was fine, conchinita pibil better, quesabirria the best. My only beef (ha!) with the quesabirria was that the soft corn tortilla was just a little bit too soft to stand up to the consommé - but the flavor was excellent, so they get a pass on this. I'll be back for sure.

This is the best place to go for the best Mexican breakfast! This food has so much flavor!!The staff was beyond friendly, they treated us as if they truly were happy that we chose their establishment for our meal. The next time I travel to this area, they are a sure stop on my list!!Well done guys and gals!!

We were in the neighborhood to see a show at the nearby Berkeley Playhouse, and decided to try this place -- it was a great choice! We had the weekend brunch, and I got the chorizo con huevo. Excellent taste, and a pretty generous portion. The home fried potatoes were nicely done as well, and I really enjoyed the Acme bread that came with the order. Service was awesome -- I suspect the gentleman who was greeting and seating customers is the owner, and he was very warm and welcoming, clearly proud of maintaining the quality of the establishment. The restaurant itself is large, with plenty of options for large groups. There's a large rotating beer selection that I'll have to try some time in the future (brunch wasn't exactly the right time!). Amazing meal and the best service I’ve had in a while. I came in with my baby and they were so friendly. 100% recommend. Also the waiter Roman was the best!

The drinks were fine. The food: The stuff of nightmares. My friend and I both got Carne Asada Tacos. A different order came to the table. Once that was straightened out , I can only say : Greasy, Gristly,Twisted FLAVORLESS bits of beef with some greens, I had to ask for a salsa and even then. well, then the wrong check came.
Just can't get enough of their quesabirria tacos. Good selection of draft beers

I saw the sign from across the street and I was intrigued. I didn't know if it was a spo / Happened upon this great spot. It's a fun spot with friends and family as well as comfortable to eat/drink and enjoy by yourself. I came on Taco Tuesday during Happy Hour. What a combination.
