Delicious but not loaded with meat. We had the beef pho and the beef & pork combo banh mi sandwich. Everything tasted great and full of flavor but I deducted some points because there just wasn't that much meat in in all of our, dishes compared to most Vietnamese restaurants we've been to previously.
I especially liked the tasty, chewy and crunchy pork in the sandwich. I know it might be too tough and crunchy for some people without good teeth and jaw muscles but I thought it was truly a rare delicacy.
Our server was very friendly, polite and professional in every regard. High marks to her!
And even though it's not that important to me personally we did find the interior was nicely decorated if a bit too bright with too many lights switched on for a relaxing dinner meal.
It can be very tough to find parking close to that area sometimes of the night or day.
I'll also mention someone had flipped their hanging from door "opened / closed" sign to make it seem like they were closed when they were not. So don't believe that door sign.

Parking: Most nights of the week there's no parking available, unless you keep circling around looking for a spot to open.

All food came the wrong temperature. Vermicelli was steaming hot and screwed up the rest of the bowl. Just gross.

My son and I were visiting Berkeley and stopped in for lunch. We shared spring rolls for an appetizer. He had a ban mi sandwich that he said was excellent and my vermicelli noodles with chicken was also good. We stayed for a long time chatting and the server was nice about refilling our waters and letting us take our time.

Pho broth was plain. Didn’t not taste like it’s been cooked over 8 hours. Definitely tastes like a pack of pho powder. Doesn’t matter if I didn’t have onions or green onions. Broth was still plain. Server was nice and sweet.

I was excited to try the beef marrow pho. It sounds amazing, right? I got it to-go, and was handed two parcels by the friendly staff.

When I sat down to eat: the noodles were overcooked and disintegrating, in a completely bland, fatty broth with a few chunks of meat in it. Was the fat supposed to be the marrow? It had no salt in it and was honestly pretty gross. There was even a small tray thoughtfully placed to keep the noodles out of the broth so they wouldn’t get soggy, but it had no effect because they were overcooked before the order was assembled. I’m Asian and I make them often: it’s not hard to cook rice noodles without destroying them, so this really struck me as negligent.

The weird thing was the second parcel. It contained two huge beef bones, almost the size of a baseball catcher’s mitt. Like, enormous. They’d told me it was “to put in the soup.” The bones were obviously way too big to fit into the tiny plastic bowl. They also had no meat on them. I’m not in a place where I can boil the bones for stock, even if I wanted to (which I didn’t… I got takeout because I don’t have time to cook). So they basically gave me some big, stinky trash with my flavorless order lol.

Paid about $26 after tax and tip for the privilege of this experience. Not returning!

Ordered the vegan bahn mi and an avocado smoothie. Both were really yummy and didn't take too long to arrive. Based on the previous reviews, I'll add that the water tasted perfectly fine. No chemical taste ?

I was fooled by 4 stars ratings . This is not even a true Vietnamese pho place. This restaurant is owned a Thai family and probably don't even know how to make authentic Vietnamese Pho. There was no beef pho aroma and definitely nothing like pho. They don't have the usual variety of beef that come with pho. We will never go back there again even though the service was okay.

Parking: Forget about finding a place to park since this place is not even worth the time.
