A nice store with a large area of sitting areas. However, the bakery is extremely limited - only three sets of breads with repetitions. This is probably the store with the smallest amount of selection I have ever been to - about half to one third the size of the other stores in terms of available bakeries.Their drink selections are good. This location is more of a cafe for drinks, sit and chat than a bakery store.
Great place to go to study or post date when in college
One of the worst 85 ° bakery I've been too. The staff were nothing but college kid's who look like only got a job because their parents told them too. Poor customer service. The restroom was falling apart. The only "good" thing is that it's a large area.
The atmosphere is good, very spacious, and it would be a good place for students to work. But the coffee is expensive and the baked goods are only okay. There are several large rolls, and a few tiny cakes, but something just seems to have been missing. You can get seasonal Chinese cakes here.
Nice interior for studying. however, they recently shortened their hours and really cut down on their variety of breads, so I won't be returning. It's a nice place to go for studying/working and drinking coffee/milk tea.
I love this place! It's spacious and calm. The baked goods are always delish. I ordered a mango slush today, which was SO sweet and filling. I usually get a hot milk tea with boba, less sweet and very tasty. Overall, love the vibes of this place. Also, Go Bears!
The grapefruit tea and other fruity teas are really great. Also very spacious and clean.
Good drinks. All food options very high carb (but probably tasty)
WiFi is frequently broken, which is surprising given the number of students that study here on a daily basis.
I enjoyed going to this bakery for the first time today. I had a chocolate muffin and a hot chocolate. I paid about $6. I was impressed that the hot chocolate had a temperature that was excellent! I have had it elsewhere where it was so hot it was undrinkable or you would burn your tongue. This hot chocolate was hot, but very drinkable! It was delicious! The only negative thing about this bakery was the lack of goods. There was not a lot to choose from. But, what was there was very good!

Sea salt coffee, chocolate hazelnut muffin with almonds
It's a good place to stop off and have coffee. The pasteries are fresh and low in sugar. The folks behind the counter are cheerful.
When I lived in San Diego, my friend and I would take road trips to Irvine just to go to 85C. That's how good this place is. When I moved away I lamented over the fact that we would not longer be able to make trips to our favorite bakery. Then I discovered that there was one right near campus. I almost died of excitement. My favorite items are hands-down the iced sea salt caramel coffee, the ham and cheese croissant, and the mango custard from the refrigerated section.
Seems like a good place to work/study but Wi-Fi is not reliable 😔
Would've been 4 stars but they didn't quite hit the mark on quality, their sister store in Livermore was much better in taste, quality, and quantity. I just hope the quality is improved, will try it again sometime. But for now, I'm going to drive the extra 10 minutes to the other 85°C Bakery Cafe. We'll see how good bakeries, make something taste good. I did like how clean it was for the part of town it was in though, it seemed to be nothing like the outside. Parking can be difficult and there might be a bit of walking to this location, don't forget to bring meter change to park on the street.
