Let's get straight to business... how was the food? 10/10. I got the Golden Burrito with steak. It was amazing! I let the staff know it was our first time trying it and they went into detail of how to enjoy it best with the different sauces they have available. It's also in a good safe part of town and provides clean indoor seating. Definitely coming here more often to try different items on the menu.

HUGE patio. great for gatherings. They even have a large indoor area for cold or rainy weather. Bring your friends and family. The food here doesn’t disappoint.They’re always friendly when I stop by and make a point to give excellent service. One they put meat in my veggie (ONCE!) and they remade it and insisted I grab a soda on them.It’s super cute, a few blocks from strawberry creek park, next to the liquor store if you prefer a beer.They’re also on apps for delivery or pickup, no phone orders but that’s okay. I also appreciate that they’re open very late. When I get the craving for their rice I know I’ll have it soon!Vegetarian options: No substitutions but delicious as is without meat!Parking: free parking after 6pmKid-friendliness: Lots of space far from street to run around and play

Food tasted good but there were a couple of small stones in the food. These are most likely from the black beans. I saw another review that mentioned a similar issue which tells me they are not going through a thorough cleaning process. To the owners - cmon folks, your food is good, don't screw up your reputation because of something silly like this.

It’s been a long time since I’ve actually been impressed by a food a joint. The food is delicious, but even more incredible are the people running this place. Stopped and chatted with one of the owners and he treated my friend and I with such generosity and care. I told him we picked up our food for iftaar and he sent us home with dates & chai for us to enjoy. Also we both got burrito bowls and there’s enough food for 3 meals, easy. Love this place and will definitely be back!

Came here on the way back home randomly and found a gem! It was pretty late (all the outdoor seating was empty), but they were super nice and got my food out in 10 minutes. The seating outside seemed plentiful, and I like how the plants are arranged to separate the tables. I got the Golden Burrito with chicken, and the flavors melded together so perfectly. Even a 30 minute drive home didn't take away from the quality of the burrito at all. I did order it spicy but absolutely did not feel the heat (which was alright since the flavor was great). The chips were pretty good, and the side sauces were good as well though the sweet sauce was not to my taste (still solid!). This definitely is the densest burrito I have ever gotten -- it has HEFT. Gotta respect a burrito that can stand up on its own. Definitely could be made into two meals/shared between two people. Would come again to try the other meats as well!
Wow! The other reviews are spot on. It's a damn good Mexican burrito with what I would call an Indian not Afghan twist (very mild yellow curry sauce inside) Had the steak burrito (carne asada) They also give you a couple sauces on the side, a standard Chinese/Thai sweet & hot sauce and an unusual creamy hot sauce. If you're gonna eat there, there's a huge patio area. Nice people. And it's halal! Only minor downside to eating there is being so close to very very busy San Pablo Ave.
