the breakfast burritos are so good! And a good deal. I always stop here if I didn't have time for breakfast.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! I normally do not leave reviews but this shyt is NASTY as HELL... Tonight was my first time trying them and UGH🤮... I ordered two chicken hard shells and one ground beef hard shell. I was told that the chicken was white meat and it was dark meat(strike one) and as soon as I took a bite out of each one I had to spit it back out. The chicken and ground beef tasted old with a weird after taste(strike two and three). I WILL NOT BE GOING HERE AGAIN... 🤮🤮🤮

Don't be turned off by the gas station next door, this place easily has the best Mexican food in Berkeley. If you find most other taco shops in Berkeley to be kind of... bland, please go to Aliberto's! I need them to succeed and stay here forever.

it’s in the parking lot of a gas station, so the atmosphere is nothing nice. The food is good, but the prices have been getting higher. Other Aliberto‘s restaurants seem to give larger servings, this one seems a little on the small side.

Not real Mexican food, burrito doesn’t even have rice or beans. They gave me a Taco Bell burrito

Ok carne asada fries. Soggy from the beans and not enough fries. Good spice. $17. It is attached to a gas station for a reason.

Classic Berto’s food nice to see one in the bay, this place definitely holds true to the Bertos style

Have only tried the rolled tacos but those where bomb and reminded me of all the classic so-cal Mexican food

Not many places like this in the bay so I’ll literally travel from sf just for this place!

I got an enchilada with a taco. The enchilada was simply a tortilla with unmelted cheese inside and some enchilada sauce thrown on the side of it with a mound of lettuce on top of it. The taco was another tortilla folded over and at least that was fried that was also stuffed with a bunch of lettuce And I ordered one with beef and there was probably two fingers worth of beef in there. And the refried beans look like they definitely came from a can. Definitely not maiden house that’s for sure and I got a an orange drink to go with it. That was probably the only thing that was right about this entire meal all for the low low price of $20! This plate of food probably cost them $1.50. I asked one of the people how long they’ve been open and he said they’ve been open for a whole year. I don’t know how that’s possible but the kind of food I got they should’ve closed the following day after they opened!

Amazing and huge burritos. The two guys working were super nice and hooked it up. The salsa was killer. Open late as well! Not much more you could ask for.
