Very nice, quiet place, feels like a college library! You almost feel as if you are disturbing the peace with a conversation. Great coffee at a not-so-expensive -- for Bay Area standards -- price.

Cute presentation on the lattes but the hot chocolate tasted like extra sweet toothpaste. Matcha was chalky and a bit sour.

Warm and comfortable space on a rainy day. Was able to enjoy an egg and bacon ? pastry ? large latte and 2 hours working in the corner. Great WiFi, very friendly and knowledgeable people working the counter.

During a recent visit to Artís Coffee in Berkeley, I had the delight of tasting a small yet flavor-packed dessert called rugelach. This Eastern European pastry was a marvel of textures, from its flaky, buttery crust to the generous spiral of crunchy poppy seeds. Each bite was a perfect balance of tender pastry and rich, nutty filling.Alongside the rugelach, I enjoyed a well-crafted latte. A perfect complement to the sweet treat without stealing the spotlight. It enhanced the overall experience, making for a delightful pairing that I would recommend to any café-goer.In all, the visit was a pleasant reminder of the joy found in simple, well-executed desserts and drinks. The rugelach stood out with its traditional charm and exquisite flavor, while the latte provided a comforting warmth, creating a harmonious café experience.

Excellent service, capuccino is outstanding, and paired with Rugelach for dessert makes this combo just perfect. Second time visiting this place, and certainly will come back again soon.

The store was very open, bright and clean. The workers were super friendly and got out drinks out fast. Their coffee was yummy and creamy, the chai was sweet and spicy, and the almond croissant was perfect. I really loved it and will definitely be coming back. The only issue was it full of people studying so there weren’t too many empty places to sit.

Enjoyed the drink my husband brought home before, but discovered on my most recent visit that they keep all their milk at room temperature on the counter, which is not safe. It was not particularly busy, so it's not like they were going through gallons an hour. They clearly picked up milk from the counter to make my drink, put it back there when they were done, and went back to other tasks. Makes me wonder how good their other food safety training is.
