I loved ABP in NYC and this Berkeley spot scratches the itch. It has a similar vibe to one of my fav locations in NYC. Usually, service is pretty good. This evening, there was only one person working and the person ahead of me had their order disappear so I had to wait to pay while the guy looked around to see what happened, only to find out that he had put her pizza in my box and my similar order was getting extra toasty in the oven in the mean time. No harm done, but definitely not the usual quality of service.
We grabbed coffee and pastries at Caffé Strada very nearby and it was a cozy-chill spot to take our time caffeinating with the baby before picking up pizza. Tight seating for the stroller in some areas but people were helpful and understanding.
Was good! Easy to/go!
Loved it!!
Absolute deliciousness and worth every penny of the 7.25 paid for each slice.
The slices are big, tender, crunchy, munchy and just right.
The bottom is cooked well and the top is cooked perfectly and the flavor melts in your mouth. One slice feeds a 🦍 man and it’s super solid. I got the artichoke pizza and tried the lasagna tasting one and it was scrumptious. I’d drive here from Sacramento if I’m ever craving delicious pizza again. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I felt like a gremlin biting into the second slice because I was full but the pizza was just that good.
TLDR: great pizza, worth the price, try the artichoke pizza, don’t miss out.
As usual, Best pizza the vodka and artichoke one!!! Nothing beats this!
Best place for afterparty dinner late nights. Open till late.
You if you want your car to have a break in
Even for a late night eat, it’s better to just wait till morning than try their style of pizza, being the artichoke one. Miserable people who like to demean their customers and an $8 charge for food that is calorically half an $5 Banh Mi or the same as $1 ramen. It’s why most people who go there don’t come back or miss the place one they’ve left the town. The amount of oil/trans fat on this pizza could get your clothes dirty since the pizza easily crumbles due to it. In Italy, it would be unacceptable in taste, and illegal for the amount of trans fat/oil they use

The older Hispanic man that works there is very rude & ignores customers. Also, he was cleaning with a rag while food was present underneath. I had high hopes for this place but never coming back !

Delicious pizza from Artichoke, I ordered it because it is the flagship of this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The size of the slide is considerable and it was enough for me to complete my lunch. Quite friendly staff and affordable price.

hot pizza, definitely with a bit more oil, but it's a huge slice for a pretty good price. One slice is usually enough for me. Be careful not to burn your mouth!!
