Aunty Pooeys Sweet Tooth

Extremely disappointed ☹️ I ordered 2 Carmel cakes and a red velvet cake. I mean all of the cakes were a disappointment. The Carmel should have been layered on the cake it was just dumped on it was so heavy lack favor I mean I never had such a disappointing cake.

The peach cobbler and sweet potato pound cake were pretty decent overall. While I personally didn’t love the sweet potato flavor, that’s more a matter of taste—the quality of the cake itself was definitely good.

Sweet potato cake was excellent. Peach cobbler was okay. The dough was a bit gummy less than perfect but the peach flavor was good enough.

I dream about their banana pudding. It’s SO good. Their peach cobbler is also amazing.

Highly recommend others get their sweet treats here. If you pick up, the location is easy to pass up because it’s an apartment. The banana pudding pound cake is unbelievably delicious. If it’s in stock (which that should tell you so much already), get it!! We also tried the carrot cake brownie and that paired well with a little coffee. All in all, everyone should support this gem of a place!

I got the banana pudding poundcake. My spoon cut through it like a knife through butter, so much flavor, one of my favorite places to get dessert. The guy who served me was very sweet, im definitely planning to go again

The dark chocolate cake is awesome. Be aware that it's takeout/delivery only. Don't be confused by the street address.

First off there's nothing wrong with the atmosphere, it's just that it's just ground floor apt and you wait outside. Do not let that deter you, it's not a cafe. I'd rather have modest prices than pay much more just to look at a fancy and expensive store front. I'm here to get great food!

Wow, what a find! The people are very nice, and they have wireless pay! As stated earlier, it is in an apt/condo complex without any signage so it's easy to pass. There's a crosswalk with bright yellow pedestrian signs on a pole. It's a red zone there but that's your marker to find it easier.

Banana pudding is delicious. It is not banana flavored pudding, you can see banana through and through, truly a pudding made with bananas.

Lemon Pound Cake is not too sweet, not too tart (personally would like a little more tartness to offset the richness but wouldn't stop me from enjoying it. You can really taste the butter, ain't no oil filler used in these bad boys.

Peach Cobbler Pound Cake, another winner. Not overly sweet, nice cinnamon layer in the cake.

Sweet Potato Pound Cake. This one is sweet but lordy it is good! Rich with spice and moist sweet potato. Dynamite combination with the subtle chai spices.

I'm just glad I don't live nearby, otherwise I know I'd be coming here too often! This is a 100% winner. Sadly I didn't get to see Aunty Pooey hehe.

I see what the hype is about! Even though it is too sweet for me, I still go back since the sweets are all fantastic. I never thought I would be a fan of banana pudding, but Aunt Pooey's is in a different league. You musy try it at least once (though you'll likely be going back for more).

I ordered the vegan chocolate cake off Doordash, and it was exactly what I was craving and more. This will be my new go to place for vegan chocolate cake. It was so good!!

I brought Aunt Pooeys peach cobbler to a family dinner. My sister in law is a master baker and all of the rest are fabulous cooks. All agreed this peach cobbler was the best, including the all-important crust.
To top it off Aunt Pooey is a pleasure to deal with. Just call her or walk right up to the door and of course allow the 24 to 48 hour turnaround.
