Been going to bagel street for the past 7 years with my buddy. We always get the pizza bagel which is always super good. To be honest the service and environment has really gone down hill and the prices increasing it’s a bit disappointing. Anyway I still love this place give it a try if you can when you’re in Berkeley!

I gave a nice tip but they were still rude and gave lousy service, ordering me around for no reason. I ordered a bagel sandwich for takeaway, and when I asked that they put it in a bag they refused but at least gave me a paper bag on the side.

Maybe the proprietors are used to dealing with really rough characters in this neighborhood, but you're better off checking out the place on the next block.

Bagels are fresh and light. Price is good and service is really fast. Not much else to add, just a really good experience

The service is quick and good. All staff was super friendly! I got the deluxe eggwich on an Asiago bagel. The bagel itself is good, but the egg is very bland. Overall, it’s okay but I recommend bringing your own condiments to add flavor.

Bacon, egg, and cheese on everything
Fresh-squeezed orange juice
Snapple fruit punch
Salt bagels
Decent coffee
Nice staff

bagels are soft and fresh but the eggwich i got with cheese was so bland. i could barely taste the cheese and there was nothing else on the bread so it was rather unsatisfactory

We (my mother and I) were visiting Cal on a college tour. I ordered the pizza bagel, which was ok, and she ordered a bagel with egg and some other toppings. The eggs were supposedly scrambled, but they just poured watered down pre beaten eggs from a jug into a plastic container, then microwaved the container and the eggs. In total it was almost $18. Then we sat down at a table and there was water on it, so I went to the counter to ask for a napkin. The woman said “on your tray” without looking at me so I asked again, trying to specify it was for the table and not me. She yelled “ON YOUR TRAY” and walked back into the kitchen. Overall, the service was horrible, the food was mediocre and overpriced and the whole atmosphere felt dirty and off. This is coming from a New Yorker who is used to dealing with grumpy, overworked people and ridiculously expensive food.
