I love bagel street! My go to is an everything bagel with egg and cheese, bacon if I'm feeling it, or a cinnamon crunch bagel with blueberry cream cheese if I want something sweet! Service is fast just make sure you know exactly what you want to order, the workers get kinda annoyed if you're unsure. I've never had a bad experience here.

For a place that charged me more money for a sesame bagel with cream cheese than I’m willing to admit, I will not be returning. I don’t think I have ever felt so disrespected upon opening my bagel and seeing how little cream cheese they had spread on my bagel. It was as if the cream cheese was the embodiment of lacroix. If social norms and fear of arrest wasn’t a thing, I’d jump the counter and spread it myself.

The taste of the bagel is fine but the service is kinda intense. I usually get the bagel dog which seems like a costco size hot dog wrapped in their bagel and toasted to order.

Bagel Street Cafe is a classic stop for breakfast among Cal Students and anybody around the area. Upon walking in you are faced with a large case of bagels! There is a huge variety, ranging from plain to garlic to cranberry to a bagel wrapped hotdog! Inside just reminds you of a classic bagel shop. FOOD: I've tried a variety of their bagels; garlic, pesto, everything, sesame, etc, and they have all been great! I'm not really a sweet bagel person so I haven't tackled any of those ones yet. I'm a big fan of their cream cheese options, there's so many flavors! My go-to order is usually a garlic or pesto bagel topped with either veggie or scallion cream cheese! It's soooo good, I just wish they put more cream cheese on the bagel :,) all the bagels taste great, one thing is I wish they were a bit chewier. Flavor is on point but the texture can be a tiny bit better. Still love it overall! Service is super quick. The woman that always helps with orders is quick and sometimes seems a tad rushed, but she has always been very nice to me. They remember my orders and I'm in and out the shop within 5 minutes! Overall, definitely stop here if you need a quick eat. The menu has a lot of other options including gourmet bagels and sandwiches, and I definitely have to try those in the future :)

That was one of the worst bagels I've ever put in my mouth. I asked for it toasted so they toasted it for about 15 seconds. More red onions than actual lox cream cheese. I can check this place off my list for sure.

the club eggwich was good, the coffee was pretty bad. these bagels aren’t remarkable by any means but this is a good place overall. the staff are very fast paced so know what you want to order when you are talking to them. in total i paid 14+tip for a club eggwich and a large coffee.
Glad this part of Berkeley has a good bagel shop. They have the standards here but try something different like the Pesto Bagel which my daughter likes. Lots of good options. Service is pretty quick. Very limited seating here so plan to eat it to go.

If you enjoy getting yelled at then this spot is perfect for you!I genuinely don’t write reviews, I worked in costumer service before, so I know how annoying costumers can be especially during rush. I’m not entitled to a greeting/smile I don’t really care I’m only here for a bagel but somehow I got a bagel with a side of aggression.They are soooo mean genuinely makes it challenging to order when you’re getting eye rolls and screams.Also, I saw a guy handle the register (touching cash/cards) and go back to making bagels with no gloves or wash his hands?!If you like the bagels, this chain has other locations around that have incredible service.
