Belmo Café is amazing! The coffee is rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced you can really taste the quality. The pastries are fresh and delicious, especially the Algerian and French ones. The staff are super friendly and the place has a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Berkeley for coffee and sweets!

Extraordinarily slow service. There was only one worker taking orders and one guy ahead of me in line being served and I waited over 15 minutes before leaving. I normally don’t mind a slight wait but this was pretty egregious for an otherwise welcoming bakery. I have never seen a single food order take that long. I hope to try again in the future.
