This little bakery might look quite misleading, but what they have is great and very tasty. Unfortunately, they were out of Turkish and Arabic coffee when I came late afternoon, but Turkish delight was top quality. The regular coffee was also very good. Highly recommend this place

Very fun for sweet or savory treat, coffee and lunch options. Feels like many wonderful places Ive been to internationally, be a world traveler without leaving SF bay.

They are the go-to place when every other business is closed. If you're craving desserts, this is the spot! Whether it's cake or cookies, you can't miss out on their offerings. The customer service is outstanding, and Habeeb from Belmo truly excels at what he does.

Wanted a sweet treat later in the night and most places were closed. So happy to see that this cafe was open until 10pm! Came here with my boyfriend and it was so cute inside. There were sooo many delicious treats to choose from! Highly recommend.

This place has so many treats to choose from I just couldn’t decide! Pooped in for a quick croissant sandwich, sugar cookie, and coffee. Service was fast and straightforward and we were able to sit and eat on the sidewalk bistro tables. Will be back again to try the Algerian sandwiches and any of their other tasty treats.

If you are looking for a placeto enjoy and want a hint of French influence, come to this Algerian cafe. The delights are delicious and even my eyes wanted to eat all the baked goods. As for my mouth, I've stuffed it with two different Algerian sandwiches. The sausage sandwichos delicious and it is well complimented with the mayo and harissa. The marinated chicken sandwich was to die for but a pity that I ate it two days after. I have yet to try the drinks but the food is bomb! I liked to add that I splurged and the total amount per person could be on the $20 range, but for someone special this is of little consequence. I'd say it's worth it for sure!

We were really looking forward to visiting Belmo Café, especially since it advertises being open until midnight. However, when we arrived at 10:40 p.m., the experience was underwhelming from the start. The young man behind the counter seemed eager to wrap up and close down early. Right off the bat, he handed us a dirty tray to place our pastries on—definitely not the welcoming start we expected.

The pastries themselves were disappointing. The danish we tried was hard and dry, as though it had been sitting out for hours. The clamshell cookie tasted off, like it had absorbed a soapy or chemical flavor that overpowered the taste. Unfortunately, the puffed pastry was no better—stale, hard, and with a texture that made it clear it wasn’t fresh.

Additionally, the to-go box we were handed was sticky on the outside, likely from handling by the same young man whose hands appeared unwashed. Overall, we left feeling disheartened. We love supporting small businesses, but basic cleanliness, quality, and customer service shouldn't be overlooked.
