Surely the best bagels in California! First time in and I was surprised by the freshness of the food. Staff very friendly and fast as well. Prices are very affordable. I’ll be back for the home made bagels and fresh juices.

Very good homemade bagels, and way less expensive than Bodchick. Also no line around the corner full of pretentious foodies who think they know everything about bagels. Worth passing Bodchick and coming

This is our go-to for NY-style bagels in the area. It's kind of out of our way but worth it. I order a dozen every few weeks and slice and freeze them. They even have whitefish salad! It's a little pricier than the Acme stuff but definitely tastier.

Good bagels. Used to say they were the best in Berkeley but Boichik moved in so they're giving them a run for their money. They are less expensive than Boichik but still pretty pricey ($20 for a dozen bagels). The customer service is pretty mid so I'm thinking next time I'm going to the competition to see if the experience is better. Coffee is self serve in a carafe. That's pretty old school. So, meh. Good, not great. Maybe class it up a little bit to make the prices seem justified.

Absolutely delicious. Bagels were the best I've ever had. Highly recommend the scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel + the white fish on an onion bagel. The strawberry cream cheese is divine. What a treat!

My Go-To, convenient, and reliable Bagel emporium, for over 30 years - just about as good as it gets in the Bay Area - certainly 'Good Enough' - and way better than my experience of Boichik Bagels' new Berkeley Sixth Street factory's product. Comes very close to my personal-taste Gold Standard: Detroit's "NY Bagel Company" from 5 decades ago.Their lox is unusual, and great. Very friendly, and very Neighborhood-y. Highly recommended.

Bagels were quite bland, ingredients did not taste fresh, and the place felt dirty inside.

The service was great and the food was delicious. And I love how it's close to where I live.

This is a fairly decent bagel place. I got an egg salad sandwich and it was okay. Not the best one I've ever had but not horrible. They add something interesting to their egg salad that made it a little sweet which was a little off. Putting the service was very, very very slow and they were very unaware of their customers and what their customers needs were

I've been going here longer than the internet, when it was originally Brother's Bagels. Latest owners have not changed the bagels as far as I can tell. Prices more reasonable than Posh or other boutique bagel places. Parking lot and street parking. they have a full selection of drinks snacks, varieties of bagels (my fav is the garlic) and the staff has always been pleasant.
