This place smells bad the pasta was good but not enough to make up for the musty scent of the restaurant. Originally was gonan give this a 4 but going to Albany opened my eyes. Truly a very mid restaurant nothing else to sayIt smells vaguely like pee as soon as you enter, I had to eat outside even though it was cold bc my nose was rly going through it..pasta and bread tastes good tho and people are nice..but the scent is too much can’t make up for it

Totally honorable slice of straight up pizza, great selection of brews, Great staff, and a convenient location in the heart of downtown Berkeley.I'm normally not a pizza and beer kind of guy, but tonight I made an exception and I'm glad that I did. Their meat combo was cooked perfectly crispy just around the edges the meat was good, Beer was great, I ordered the propaganda ale.I would give this place 5 out of five stars except just so many screens playing so many basketball games made the place kind of noisy I had to shut it out to focus on the delicious pizza. Long wait time even though we were almost alone in the restaurant, however, the waiter us offered (I assume) free
The food itself was terrible. I used to enjoy going here but it has taken a very negative turn. The pizza was very below average . The worst part was the “garlic bread” which had no garlic taste to it, the bread was stale And had a lackluster bit of cheese which were in lumps and tasted old. As a whole I was very dissatisfied and I’m not going back.

Food was bad. Stuffed breadsticks were completely raw insided. The cheese nor the dough was cooked. Fried Pan pizza is more like a thin crust and even that was uncooked.

Good beer selection, but abismal service. I came with a clear mind and pure soul and left disappointed the guy refused to bring my beer to me, I guess since I sat in the outdoor seating area(?) it’s been 20 minutes and I’m still waiting for my single slice of cheese pizza. How does this place stay in business…?? Toodles❤️Edit: I received a half pint of beer because of the abysmal service - which will bring my review to a 3/5 for the service BUT a 1/5 for food quality because this pizza is shit….which brings the overall score to 2/5

Was looking for a nice place to watch the warriors game. This place had lots of space and for good reason. Their pizzas are super expensive and they don't serve alcohol (probably recently lost their license). We paid $40 for a 12" pizza.Reread that. 12" with a couple toppings was FORTY bucks. Ugh. Definitely not worth in the future.And no beers or drinks. Other than that, sure, whatever this is a normal pizza diner place.
