these are good if you really like a fluffy bagel, but they’re not as crispy as others. the cream cheese is one of the best i’ve had but they give pretty inconsistent amounts, still love them though!
I honestly can’t figure out how the bagels here are rated so highly? Slow news day? They are very mediocre like most sf bagels. Beauty’s was the real thing until wise sons took over. So we are back to mediocre bagels for everyone.
unfortunately i’m just visiting, but if I lived in Berkeley I would come here often. They are a little bit on the softer side compared to others that I’ve had, and personally I like my bagels ~just a little bit~ chewier, but they still hit the spot for me. If these were boiled for just a few seconds longer before they’re baked they’d be up there with my favorite bagels of all time. Also the spreads are delish.
