Tasty bagels and fun to watch them get made but I’ve had some order mixups with sandwiches and incorrect toppings a couple times.
Totally fine. The bagels get better when they’re toasted, which shows they are not GREAT bagels.
The bagels are not as excellent as they used to be. I get it, scaling up is hard. The bagels are still delicious and nearly the top choice in the bay area.
I recently visited this spot, but I left feeling disappointed. The entire experience felt like another business that’s lost its soul to corporate expansion.
The whitefish was incredibly salty, making it hard to enjoy, and the onions were cut way too thickly, overpowering every bite. The coffee was stale—definitely not what I expected given the prices. The ingredients themselves might have been decent, but the preparation was careless, and the food felt haphazardly thrown together.
The staff looked overworked, adding to the dispassionate atmosphere. Honestly, it reminds me of what happened to Blue Bottle after it sold out—once great, now overpriced and underwhelming. I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Best bagels!
Great bagels and service, only wish they were open much earlier
These are currently my favorite bagels in the east bay. Service is great and fast. My only wish is that you could do your own milk and sugar in your coffee instead of them doing it for you.
New building. Cook to see the operation. They need a better system of showing what bagels are out. Save the checkout person from explaining it to everyone. Maybe an illuminated sign.
As good of a bagel as you can get. They have a good shell and are soft yet dense. They toast well and their lox portions rival NYC.
A fun bagle shop that also serves as the factory. While waiting, guests can watch the assembly line and the robot stack the trays of bagels through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. It's a fun experience and helps with the process of enjoying their bagels!

Phenomenal bagels. Had the pumpernickel everything bagel with whitefish salad. Very chewy and flavorful. Only downside was the coffee was not very hot.
Friendly staff🥰, best bagel in the states🥯
Love how chewy the bagels are, simply can't get enough of it. Very quality, fresh bagels.
Be prepared for a long line if you haven't ordered ahead online. The folks at the register are very patient answering customer's questions about bagels and spreads. There's a window to seeing part of bagel production while waiting for your order, which is always relaxing to watch.
There's some seating outdoors.
Mass production and rapid expansion is having an affect. Staff lacks basic product knowledge.
I'm disappointed by the perceived change and did not enjoy writing this.

Great bagels, but had hoped that being by the factory might mean warm, fresh bagels, unfortunately not. Being warm out of the oven is half of what makes it so good and is the real magic behind New York bagels. You can get it toasted but it gets cut in half which ruins the softness of the interior.
