(pre-COVID review)I had the mushroom burger and a side of falafel patties. Decent burger and the falafel was also very tasty. Didn't expect to be eating falafel with my burger but saw it in the menu and decided to try it in place of fries. And very glad I did.
Came to this place for their famous persian burger. I ordered double patty persian burger with cheese. The cashier gave me the choice of American cheese or Swiss. I picked double patty persian burger with American cheese. When I received my order, the burgers did not have cheese. When I voiced my concern, she rudely replied that cheese wasn't an option. If cheese wasn't an option why did she ask me for the type of cheese I prefer. The food gets a 5 star but service a 3 at best.
I'll start off with one of my favorite burger spots but sadly that's about to change... came by the store on Center st and thought I'd grab a burger to go... little did I know they are price gouging... a burger had gone up to 11$... a simple cheese burger when I asked her did prices change ? She told me since the pandemic started... that's truly price gouging... it's sad to see that happening and local businesses taking advantage... definitely the last time I go to Bongo... when I asked the lady working the register why they brought prices up she said I don't know when it started... two different stories told by the same person within 5 minutes...
I've loved this place since my high school years, which was 10+ years ago. The place hasn't changed a bit. My go-to's have always been the Persian plate, turkey burger, baklava, & their crispy onion rings. Out of all the locations, I think the center street is my favorite.
Love the Burgers here. They are very yummy. Onion Rings are very good too! I went to Bongo Burger about two weeks ago and this location was closed but the one at 2505 Dwight Way, Berkeley, CA 94704, is opened. Take out Only. 11am-6pm.
How is this location still not open? Maybe update your fucking hours online so people don't waste their time. Just about every restaurant on the block is open so why Bongo Burger remains closed is a mystery. Owner must be raking in money if he can close for months.
Their Sandwiches are always so good! Their falafels are so yummy because they are crunchy. I love the sauce they put on top of them.
Yummy and affordable quality food!! QUALITY!
Great flavor, value, and service. My current go-to for burgers in Berkeley.
If you're going to charge me $11 for a burger combo: Greet me instead of ignoring me on your phone Get my to-go order right Remember to get me my drink These are simple things that I would ask for, that weren't happening. If this place closes tomorrow it wouldn't have been soon enough.
I visit this place a lot since I work nearby. I got to say their service is always awesome and they keep the spot clean all the time. Rates are convenient and they serve large portions.
This place is one of the best burger places in
It's the worst burguer I ate in all my life!
Tasty fairly priced burgers. Online prices are not accurate at all so beware of that. Great service, totally fixed an order that was mixed up with no questions or complaints. Very recommend.
An interesting little burger place that has some vegetarian choices. Good well cook fries and a pretty good basic burger.
